i wish it was brandon marshall. that would make me alot less pissed that mcdaniels is dumb enough to trade him. and i picked my ipad up at the flatirons store where the op is from on launch morning. chances are i saw him there.

Do you think he will ever buy an ipad for himself? :D

maybe steve will send him one...;)

I wouldn't be surprised if the Apple store or the mall itself paid for the replacement. That mall is a upscale mall with million dollar homes surrounding it. I used to go there all the time when Tower Records was there but I never felt safe in the parking garages.

This Apple store was close to me but I would always drive about 20 minutes further to the one in Littleton because the Apple store is outside with outside parking.

What horrible news - people can be so despicable. :(

I'm feeling more and more wary now about carry my iPad around with me now. I for one won't be be showing it off to folks, that's for damn sure!

Denver iPad Thieves Sever Man's Finger In Cherry Creek Mall

"...

Bill Jordan says he entered the popular Cherry Creek Mall in Denver to buy an iPad that his employer was to use as a business gift. After purchasing the iPad, Jordan was followed down a winding staircase on the way to his car. He was met at the bottom of the staircase by two thieves who began pulling Jordan's shopping bag from his hand.

The problem: the cords from the bag were wrapped tightly around Jordan's left little finger. The thieves pulled so hard that they tore off Jordan's skin and tendons. A doctor later recommended amputation.

The suspects are still at large, and police said they would likely release the surveillance video of the attack on Tuesday."

That's why I never grab those bags by the strings but where it bunches up after you tighten the strings. Makes the bag length smaller so less for a theif to grab and I can feel a tug better and be able to whip around and clock them in the face.

What gives people the sense of entitlement for an object which they don't work for and earn?

If I was the DA on this case, there would be no plea deal on any of the charges. If I was the Judge on this case, the maximum sentence allowable would be enforced on this.

This is one thing that I hate about apple stores! In the uk they are in shopping centres and considering the value of their products I hate walking through the centres then in a lift to a dingy car park with their stuff!!

I had to do it 4 times with a 27" iMac when try first come out and bloomin hated it!!!!! I wish they were on estates like currys Pc world etc are normally

Update!!
