2. No, i have an iMac as a desktop - iPad everywhere else.
3. Work, Home (Couch, Bed, etc) Coffee Shops, etc.

1. every freekin' day :D
2. no, I have an asus gaming laptop (it's freaking heavy too)

Have an iMac which i use for app development, iTunes maintenance, and managing my Aperture library. iPad used for everything else. iPad doesn't routinely leave home, though i do take it on holidays with me.

Seems to work very well as a combination.

90% of people here also use it on toilet, makes great reading material :)

90%???? I dispute this statistic. More like 35%..... Not that it matters :)

1. A couple of times a day
2. In bed usually
3. At home, at uni (as I don't take my computer)

1. Daily
2. No got a lovely gaming laptop which has been unused for 2 weeks now due to iPad. Poor laptop.
3. Everywhere, on trains, on the loo, in bed.

1 when do you use your iPad

3 where do you use ipad

1. All the time except when I'm sleeping or it needs charging
2. Don't have a MB
3. School [I write notes on it using a stylus in the Notes Plus application], work [for same purposes as school], home, all those times when I need something to waste time with or have some minor work to finish.

1. thoughout waking hours

2. nope. Macbook Air, MacBook, 12 and 15" G4 Powerbooks

3. All around the house: sprawled on the couch with a cup of tea or coffee nearby. In the kitchen. Standing by the back door waiting for the UPS guy to show up. On the porch. In the yard under a tree. Once in awhile, in bed, although usually I'm ten seconds from unconscious when I kill the lights on the first floor and head upstairs. At other people's houses when they ask to see it and I remember to take it along.

I have a Belkin case, the Grip Vue one. Works for me. I don't have to worry if I set it down for a minute on a damp countertop, for instance.

I have both a 3G iPad and 2010 MBP.
I use iPad everywhere I go, including bed & bathroom.
I use the MBP primarily for iOS development and some design work.
I have the Apple iPad case, and love it, but I've noticed the color seems to be fading a lot. It's now almost gray.

1. Daily

2. Yes. I dont take my laptop to University any more, as it is a tad heavy, and I was only ever using it to check websites as I dont like typing up notes anyway.

3. In bed, at Uni, on the toilet :p

1. Daily
2. Yes, but my MBP has turned more into a desktop computer as I no longer have the need to tote it around. My next computer will likely be a Mac Mini or iMac
3. Work, home, in bed, in the car for streaming music (iPad has unlimited data while iPhone doesn't). I usually carry the iPad with me wherever I go.
