Day to day when all I do is Internet, email and BBC iPlayer I only use my iPad.

The MBP only comes out once a week or so for more significant tasks. I'm hoping my MBP will now live longer as it gets about 10% of the use it did before.

Just love the way my iPad sits on the coffee table at home with a battery that lasts for days and is just instantly ready to go whenever I pick it up.

I proudly admit it and unlike my Touch, it won't go all of the way to the bottom of the bowl if I drop it.

I've been using mine at home for internet browsing, youtube, some music and movies and twitter/facebook.

As others have said, it's great to have a device with a good viewing area there to be picked up whenever needed.

I'll even admit to using it on the loo!

If iPad users were asked if they wash their hands after using the loo i think 90% would say they do but only 35% really would!
