Me too ! I’m impressed ! Safari is super fast. Apple surprise me a lot with iPad os !! Finally i’m happy with what apple do ! The last piece of the puzzle : the company need to do serious pro app on the iPad !!

Apart from Safari guys...

How is the OS? is it better than Beta 1? can I use it as a daily driver?

I installed beta 1 and had to revert back due to a weird WIFI issue, one of them is as folllows:

I have a Google home and a nest hub, if there is music playing on any device, and i open the google home app and choose the playing device, it should show me the volume and the playing song as well as the playing controls, since beta 1 and unfortunately beta 2, ios 13 on iphone x, it appears as if nothing is playing, anyone else noticing this?

On my iPad ios 12, everything is fine, it shows me the playing song on tbat device...

Why can I still not import photos from a Sony camera? Card shows up as read only. Same as my usb c SSD.

It's certainly better but I wouldn't install it as a daily driver if you need to get work done on your iPad. If it's a "fun" device, sure, play with it.

I like the iPad volume controls at the top in this beta! Now to do the same in iOS

I’m curious to know if the Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2 are working now in this second beta.

Crikey, I don’t know what they’ve changed but Safari is VERY VERY quick on my iPad Pro.

Fastest I’ve ever seen some sites load on any machine!

Wow.

It’s probably a glitch and triggers the A12X to max speed. Apple is likely collecting Meta data on how much of a battery drain that causes and which websites load and how fast they load.

Notability is now working with iCloud, which it did not in Beta 1.

Thus far its very stable and battery life has been great. Only issue I see is that the widgets don't always refresh.

I play Fallout shelter - anyone knows if that works? I seemed to have run into an issue where the game crashes.

I just downloaded and tried Fallout Shelter. I'm about 5 mins into a new game and no crashes. I'm on a 12.9 iPad Pro 2018 on iPadOS 13 beta 2.

The game keeps quitting on me. At most it lasts 5 minutes, usually about 45 seconds to maybe 60. I'm on a 10.5 iPad Pro with the latest beta, no other app that I have crashes/quits. I've tried deleting and re-installing to no avail ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm addicted to that game, so its a bummer, but I like what iOS 13 has to offer so I don't think I'll roll it back to iOS 12

I think I found the issue, I have cloud syncing with the game is very unstable but now with that turned off it seems to be better. I don't have time to fully test that out but I shall later tonight.

I have a question for everyone who has installed iPadOS.....when you go to Settings—->General—->Software Update, what is the OS version listed?
I think I installed iPadOS on my iPad Pro 9.7 (1st gen), but the OS listed is iOS 13.0. Shouldn’t it be iPadOS?

If I somehow screwed up and installed the wrong OS, is there a way I can uninstall it back to 12, and try again? Would I just reset the iPad?

It says iOS 13.0 on mine. In any case, desktop-like Safari seems to be working as promised so I don't really care what it's called.

Thanks for the quick reply. Glad to know I installed the right one. Safari IS definitely very fast. Dark Mode doesn’t work on the icon pages, but works in some apps. I’m liking it so far, and I know not to expect everything to work just yet.

Haven’t seen much difference to be honest. Safari is better but still not desktop level. Multitasking is gesture gymnastics. Can’t say I’ll use it much.

Dark mode I turned on for a min. Don’t like it. Back off it goes. Maybe it’s better on iPhone but don’t want beta on that yet.

Having issues with the photos app and any app trying to access it. It seems that it is trying to pull the photo from iCloud since it isn’t natively saved on my iPad which then is resulting to photo app freezing...

The cloud setting was definitely the cause and this made my day. Thankyou for downloading and testing it. Your confirmation allowed me to dig a little deeper and try different things.

I think it is, I couldn't moderation on the iPad and iPhone, but now its a bit better. Its easier to drop the ban hammer using the iPad  :p

i’ve checked the cpu usage via status app and cpu never reached more than 30%

Safari is waaaaay better. starting with scrolling to be able to change font size, and finally desktop sites

iPad OS is awesome but there's a long wait till the final release.
I had beta2/PB installed and I was experiencing annoying issues on iPad Pro 11.

For starters: apps would freeze (Things 3, Jira, DayOne), device was rebooting randomly while sleeping, battery drain was high though not extremely bad.

The best is mouse support - it's actually better than you see in videos. It's actually a plus to the experience although I would like to see some smaller cursor options for the future.
Dark mode is awesome in some apps.
Widgets on the main screen - I love that, very useful
Smaller icons - perfect - I could group everything I had on one screen and skip useless navigation

Overall a good rounded feature packed OS but since I only have 1 iPad I will not destroy it running beta software but I am very looking forward to the final release.

The first time I ran the photo app it crashed. Reloaded and it has work fine ever since. The added editing tools are wonderful. I have my photos in iCloud and it imports them fine. Editing RAW files in the photo app is really nice.

Probably asked a dozen times before, but is the open beta okay to run as a daily driver on my iPad Pro 2018?
I use my iPad daily, but i'm don't depend on it. Any known major flaws i should be aware off?
