You using the free version?

Think I'm going to stop using these forums and site soon if they can’t or won’t fix these battery draining and phone overheating issues, main culprit is the ads. 🤦‍♂️

12 Pro Max down to 50% battery 3 hours usage, thanks to this site 😡

Ad blocker is not helping you here is it?

AdGuard works fine blocking the ads, and it’s free…
There is 6 extensions for ad guard in safari settings lol, turn them all on? 🤔

Tried AdGuard, it works, but it’s slower than focus, didn’t like it 🤦‍♂️😂 hopefully the site owners hire someone who knows how to build a efficient site 🤦‍♂️ Lost 6% will being on here for 15m 🤦‍♂️😡

Well, while I wasn't immediately convinced with the 12 mini when I first got it, after actually using it for a few months I've definitely come to love its size and wouldn't want to go back to a larger model. Actually, the reason I'm so worried about battery life is because I want to hold on to this device as long as possible (especially if they are really going to discontinue this smaller model). I'm very well aware that the smaller form factor implies a smaller battery, but would be more than happy with the 4-5h SOT that other 12 mini users seem to be reporting.
Send it to Apple for diagnostic, since it’s released at the end of last year it must have warranty. Apple won’t charge you anything, if they find issue they will send you the replacement iPhone. I don’t know why are you fretting so much when you have one year warranty and Apple’s excellent customer support.

Hello everybody! I am also having issues with my 12 mini. Today was probably the worst day. Less than 2 hours SOT and my phone is pretty much dead.
Worst part ist, my battery life is down to 85% about 10 months after I bought it and I am not a heavy user.
At the same time my wife does about 2 charge cycles per day on her 12 and she has no issues whatsoever. Her maximum capacity is about 94%

Apple support have been less than helpful. Of courses they refuse to exchange my battery even though it is obviously faulty.

Try Apple Store by yourself. I had changed my battery on XS after almost a 2 years and it was at 88% back then. This usage is really not typical for a mini. I’m having between 3-4hours daily with no problem. Sometimes even more with easier tasks.

I don't know what to say but in less than 10 months, my battery health is just 89% now. How is this even possible?

I’m similar (10 months, 91%). During summer iPhone falls from 96% to 91%. Despite almost never got below 30% and charging everyday during night. I think that battery is one of the reason I bought Apple Care+ and also why I probably switch to 13.

6 months and 98%. Big reason why I'm going 13 pro not 13 mini, I want it to last the day. Its been in a 20watt charger (plus some magsafe charging as well).

With the 13 pro, am planning to switch to a 5W charger for night time reloading.

Agreed. I’m torn between 13 and 13 Pro. But I would like to spent less, so it would be 13 I think.

Absolutely agree that charging as slow as possible at night is the key to a long happy battery.
