Yes, just because I try to every two years. Still get a great trade in and after two years my battery doesn't last a full day.
Same. I already ordered my apple cases. I got the ultramarine and stone grey colors.

People charge their phones too frequently, for too long and often with 3rd party chargers. There’s nothing flawed about it.![]()
Absolutely. Sure there won’t be many new features but the 14 Pro Max is a flawed product with a defective battery problem. I cannot wait to get rid of it. Battery health is plummeting since launch day and it on 82% health for me after normal use. Apple continue to gaslight but I think there needs to be a recall.
I also try to upgrade every 2 years. I probably could push it another year but the trade in value will probably be $450 or even $400 next year. The battery life is also middling on my 14 PM.Same. I already ordered my apple cases. I got the ultramarine and stone grey colors.
I have an Anker fast charger; I thought that was a solid 3rd party product no?People charge their phones too frequently, for too long and often with 3rd party chargers. There’s nothing flawed about it.
98% on my 14PM
I only use chargers sold on the Apple Store since they’re actually tested by Apple and use them with their 20W bricks.I have an Anker fast charger; I thought that was a solid 3rd party product no?
The future is the under screen front camera/Face ID and possible return of touch ID. There will also be continued camera improvements every year.Honestly, given the battery life improvement and the $1,000 AT&T will give me, it is hard to justify not moving from my Gold iPhone 14 PM to the Desert iPhone 16 PM. I am a tad worried about the slightly taller phone, but it is lighter, so that should make up for it. The 16 PM should be a good phone for three or four years - not seeing a ton in future rumors that make me want to wait.
I looked at the Verizon trade in deal and its worse than buying the phone outright. Its cheaper for me to trade it into Apple and get the unlocked version. I've done that every time I've upgraded and its worked out great.Honestly, given the battery life improvement and the $1,000 AT&T will give me, it is hard to justify not moving from my Gold iPhone 14 PM to the Desert iPhone 16 PM. Not pre-ordering this time around. I will wait to test it in person and see what reviews bring about comparing both the 14 PM to the 16 PM. From what I have seen it doesn't seem worth it. My 14 PM still looks brand new, battery health at 91%, and works just fine.
Also, the last few weeks on here had rumors about how the 17 series appear to bring more significant changes (whatever that means).
Apple Intelligence will be available in October as beta in US-English, for all iPhone 16 phones. For me, the main reason would be to use Apple Intelligence features. I think the rest of the features are not standing out that much compared to 14 PM.
However, as Apple Intelligence won't be available in Europe for some time, I just do not see a good reason to upgrade from my 14PM.
I grabbed an Otterbox Defender case for mine, its never let me down so far.Same. I already ordered my apple cases. I got the ultramarine and stone grey colors.
