My wife has the 12 max, she has a nomad brown leather folio, never complained once about weight/size.
I have the 14 pro and battery is no where near as good as the 13 max I had.
I came from Android, always had phones with big screens and was quite used to them, so I went straight for the Pro Max size to get a better battery life.
And the battery life is great so far, the phone lasts for the whole day without any issues even though I don’t fully charge it.

But it does feel really heavy for me, especially when I use it with one hand or for a long time. I have never had a phone THAT heavy before. But apparently it’s about 240 grams, which is indeed pretty heavy.

The 14 Plus is the same size as the Pro Max with even better battery life and much lighter.

I decided to give the 14 pro max a try. In the past I found the pro max too heavy. I eventually got used to the weight and size. I couldn't stand the battery life on the 13 pro and really wanted a bigger screen. I love the larger screen and better battery life now on the 14 pro max.
FYI the 14 Plus is lighter and has better battery life than the 14 Pro Max.

I’ve had the big iPhones starting with the 6+. I’ve never felt like my phone is too big, I love the size and battery life. I can’t imagine going down in size at this point. My partner has a 13 mini and I use it sometimes to manage medical appointments for her and it is so itty bitty that it feels like a novelty. She loves it though! I’m just a big phone person apparently.

Pro Max all the way for me; it always will be

I've big hands and an ex-powerlifting competitor; the weight has never been an issue whatsoever

But the form factor me is a lot too... My Mum & MiL both have the 14 Pro; it feels small to me and I'm not keen on it at all... I'd never 'drop back down a size'...

It will & always will be personal preference

But I can never understand why & how folk complain about the weight... How weak are you?! 🤨😂

AWO (like ProMotion) is one of those things that sounds like a gimmick, until you use it, and then using phones without it feels positively archaic.
I’m not sure about that. I was an Android user before I switched to iPhone, and I never used Always-On Display nor saw the point of it. Plus it really eats up the battery, so I always thought it was better to switch it off to save up battery. But I guess it’s a personal preference after all.

I guess it depends on the size of your hands/personal preference. If your hands are big, the Pro Max will definitely feel like a better option for you. I don’t mind the big screen size, but my hands are pretty small. I own a 14 Pro Max and it felt really heavy for me on the first week, my hands would always hurt if I used it for a long time :) plus it weighs 240 grams, which is indeed pretty heavy for a smartphone.
I kinda got used to the weight speaking of right now though. I’d say it’s worth it since it has got a far better battery life compared to the regular 14 Pro. But the weight thing really depends on the size of your hands.. if your hands are small like my case, it might feel uncomfortable to hold at first, but you’ll eventually get used to the weight.

Agreed. Never used it on my android device and I haven’t used it on my iPhone. I do use the AOD on my Apple Watch though so that’s even more of a reason for me to not use the AOD on my phone haha

I was not using a case in the first week, but now I’m using it with a case and it feels more comfortable in my opinion. I think this is mainly because of the sharp edges that make it pretty uncomfortable to hold. As for the weight, I think I kinda got used to it right now, not so much of an issue anymore as it used to be in the first week.
