iPhone 14 Series will bring “notable” and “considerable” changes to design over the iPhone 13 Series which will unveil next year. iPhone 14 Series will have four models which may name as iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max. There will no mini model in 2022. Apple have plans to use LTPS OLED display for at least one model of iPhone 14 Series which would still stick to 60Hz display, while other three models will use LTPO OLED displays with 120Hz variable refresh rate by LG.

As per report claims iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will use 6.06inch display, where iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will come with a larger 6.8inch display. iPhone 14 Series will feature punch-hole display for Pro models – iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max while the other models will keep notch. Ross Young with his recent supply chain suggests that 2022 iPhone Pro models will feature under-screen Face ID, while other models keep Touch ID for security.

2022 iPhone Pro Models could use titanium built chassis design and Pro Max is rumoured to feature round buttons on the side.

I’m most interested to see what they do about the camera bump and weight. I’m not doomsday about the current Pros, but they are at the limit of what is acceptable IMO. I also think most of the folks who have championed stainless steel and ‘heavier = premium’ will change their mind once Apple tells them it’s okay.

I'm sick of that trend, I want battery life and we finally got it. I rather have a heavier phone with excellent battery life over a thinner good battery life.

They will go lighter and thinner if they can while keeping the same battery life. Love the 13 pro max and all but it’s thick and heavy.

Hopefully they bring back Pacific blue..I saw this latest blue in person and it’s like a baby’s toy color…need some grown up colors next year again.

Sierra blue is really nice, like an ice blue. Perhaps you didn’t look hard enough.

It doesn’t really work that well: the iPhone 12 Pro/Max had significantly reduced batteries and even an all-new more efficient processor manufactured on 5nm (11’s was on 7nm) couldn’t offset that. Next year they are switching to the 4nm main chip, but that wouldn’t really allow for a much smaller battery to keep the same screen time as this year’s models. If they reduce the battery by a lot, that will impact the screen time as well.

That why I purchased the iPhone 13 Mini 256GB! I love the size and Apple will no longer have another iPhone Mini ever again. I thought the Mini sold alright but a lot of potential buyers got scared away in 2020 with small battery time and the rest wanted a Mini Pro version.

Yea the colors are atrocious right now, they need to bring back black phones, white would be nice as well, and they can keep selling the Barbie colors for those that want them.

My biggest gripes right now though is the notch, and the cameras. If they can fix those two things I may just go back to the iPhone, but right now I do not have much faith. With all the hype about the improved cameras in the 13 pro’s I finally got a chance to test my midrange Android phone out against one. The macro mode is cool and a welcome addition, I can’t really tell a difference in daytime shots from an 11 to the 13’s, it’s in lowlight where you can really see a difference. To my surprise, the night shots in the 13’s looks about the same to me as it did one the 11’s or the 12’s, and my Android phone took noticeably better night shots. Better detail, better colors, and none of the muddiness that seems to show up in the iPhone images. All of this has me wondering how this can be considering the 13 pro series has bigger sensors, and supposedly takes in 2.2 times more light than a iPhone 12 Pro Max? Is it the software? Is it because Apple has stuck to 12 mp year after year? Although the lower megapixel count should result in better lowlight capability on paper. So I’m thinking it has to be software related? Or is Apple using inferior sensors? It’s baffling, with all of Apples money I’d think they could team up or hire some of the best minds in the photography industry to produce the best cameras in the smartphone world. But for some reason it just doesn’t seem to be a priority for them.
Makes me wonder what the latest flagship Android phones can do considering how good mine is, it came out a year ago and is a 699 dollar midrange phone. I wish Google would hurry up and release the pixel 6, very interested to see if they made any improvements to night and Astro mode now that they finally went with bigger, newer sensors.

They are starting to get hideous..like a baby blue desk weight and the camera bulge has become unacceptable. They actually tricked Apple users this year in giving them more battery life as a smoke screen for such a huge and heavy phone or they would have never gotten away with it….thank god better design coming, I seem to be on the perfect cycle now skipping this year.

I laughed out loud with “Barbie “ colors, couldn’t have said it better.
