Pre-ordered the "Blue Titanium" 1TB. I am able to sell my 14 pro 512GB, to cover at least half of the cost of 15 pro. I do this yearly.

I’m getting just regular “black” iPhone 15 because “Pro” is something I don’t really need or use. From what I see here 99% people buy Pro without even considering regular 15’s ;D I bet everyone one of you shots and edits pro raw photos or something ;)

White. I love bright and stand out color. White is the only bright and stand out color on Pro Max line. Natural/grey looks nice but I know I will get bored after 2-3 months as happened to other years when choosing new color of each release - craving white. So, I caved in white this time around and will not be tempted for new color unless it is bright and stand out and better than white/silver.

I think as minimalist as Apple's design philosophy is overall, their products can afford to be colorful without looking gaudy. They look like a high end accessory, and it's not like no one with a sense of fashion has ever worn a colorful accessory.

It's the overall execution that matters imo.

It's like a classic 911 in one of the skittles colors. Simple, clean design language with bright paint makes for a beautiful overall aesthetic that's timeless, but also expressive of the owner's personality.

I've always considered iPhones to be the Porsche 911 of the phone world: clean design, high build quality, the slow evolution of an icon. I think enthusiasts would be up in arms if Porsche stopped offering bright colored cars tomorrow.

Then again this is coming from someone with a silly anime avatar ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
well I hated the 911, I had a 944 (rear wheel drive, a proper car) in silver, wouldn't be caught dead in red :)

I went with the raw tit. Nothing better.

Going to try caseless. The only time I ever “drop” my phone is when it slides off my lap in the car down the crack or on the couch down the crack. Probably fine? Only happens a couple times per year. Maybe I made a terrible mistake but it’s only $29 to replace the back glass on AppleCare now. What I’m more concerned about is setting it down on surfaces. Don’t want to scratch the lenses and prefer a little more friction to keep it from sliding. I might get one of those stick-on leather pads from Nomad or similar so the titanium is still exposed but gives it more grip and protection on the rear glass. IDK.

Natural Titanium here. I ordered a clear case, but I actually might return it. I had a revelation: I spend all this money on AppleCare every year, so why do I treat the phone like a baby? I'm not saying I should be reckless with it, but I should be able to show it off and use it as it's designed. If it's lighter, why add bulk with a case.

That being said, I'm keeping a case on until I trade in my 12 Pro Max lol.
I had a similar revelation. My problem is that it makes me anxious either way and I will be annoyed with keeping myself from setting it down on a lot of surfaces. Considering a rear adhesive for the glass if it doesn’t work out as a middle ground approach. Keep the titanium exposed and the weight down while adding a little more surface protection and grip.

White, always!
I'm nostalgic for the time apple products were characterized by their signature white look.
Same thing with macs...I always choose silver.

Natural titanium, because...

Didn't think of that!
I shall think about going natural titanium too, as I'd keep this model for 2 years AT LEAST.

What makes you want to upgrade? Purely hobby?
That's the reason for me. I don't enjoy the usual things people throw money away on like bars, concerts, movies. So this is my use of the money and I bet it comes out to be considerably less money spent annually than those activities also.

Thank you for your honest share. I appreciate it and I hope you really enjoy it!

I've been a Gold guy for a long time, and was disappointed there would be no more gold, so I went with natural. I have a case always now, so might as well stop caring about the color.

Blue, blue, ‘lectric blue,
‘that’s the color of my 15 pro max….
apologies to DB (RIP)
matches my watch 6 which I will not upgrade till I see what’s in store for Watch X.

I wanted Natural, but for some odd reason I selected black (muscle memory as my last 2 phones were). Now shipment times are pushed back and I have a scheduled pick at a store. Will see if I can get a different color, but will be fine.
Ditto. Here's my question: I'm in the Upgrade Program. My pre-order for the Max 512GB Black Titanium is still set to arrive this Friday and is sitting at the "Preparing to Ship" stage. I really would like to see the finishes in person. I wonder, could I bring the unopened phone into an Apple store and trade for a different color, provided they have the same storage configuration available? The more I'm seeing the natural titanium finish, the more I'm wanting it. Plus, I've already decided to go caseless this time round.

P.S. I am so over spending $$ for a new case every year. My leather case for the 14 Pro Max had major wear over the past year.

Yeah I am worried about the black chipping like it has with the Aluminum version I have now (so minor and hard to see but I know it is there). I like the natural titanium look as (I think) that is what my AW Ultra 1 is, and that has been super durable.

The orange leather didn't age well. the patina doesn't look as good as brown or black leather, and the material quality isn't that great. I got a black leather case (it is fine), but my orange wallet is multicolor, and it is splitting inside bad enough that it sometimes slide a card between 2 layers of leather as opposed to inside the wallet . :(.

Feels like (for Orange) that they knew it was their last year for Leather, and they simply didn't care about quality.

I see a lot of people on MR and Reddit saying that the fingerprint thing won't exist. Just compare photos of stainless steel Pro iPhones in past announcements - you had a comparable amount of fingerprints there compared to when you use it caseless throughout the day. The stainless steel phones picked up finger oils extremely quickly and I don't see why these photos of the titanium Pros will be fundamentally different (as if one person using it means it remains clean vs 20 people at an Apple announcement event where Apple staff clean the phones in between each user lol).
So, do you agree with me then? lol

No not really because I (sadly) think that the fingerprint smudges will exist in normal usage as well, and the current reviews seem to confirm that. Although let's wait tomorrow for MR reactions to receiving the phones.
