Upgrading from an XR. We are both gonna be experiencing massive upgrades!Pre-ordered 15 Pro Natural Titanium, pick it up from local Apple Store next week. Traded in my XS. Big upgrade for me!
Same but I got the AppleCare+
I figure by the time you factor in the additional excess costs on top of the Apple care cost it doesn’t seem like it’s worth getting Apple care.Same but I got the AppleCare+
In all my years I’ve had a case and never dropped my phone. I plan to not use one for the natural titanium and I betcha I drop it the first week.
For me, the first week or so is always the most dangerous. Be extra cautious until it becomes familiar to youIn all my years I’ve had a case and never dropped my phone. I plan to not use one for the natural titanium and I betcha I drop it the first week.
What are we seeing here, the paint/coating is rubbing off (even if it's a floor model that has been handled by hundreds of people in a matter of hours)?Natural titanium, because...

I never use a case, and people are always shocked. But like you, I’m just always low-key aware that I’m carrying my phone, and slightly more careful with it. If it’s in my hand while I’m walking, I hold it consciously, rather than not thinking about it. I’m much more casual when I’m indoors, especially in my carpeted home.Like others, going to risk caseless for the first few weeks and see how it goes. Oddly I am much more careful where I set my phone and how I handle it without a case. Hoping it proves to be as durable as my AW Ultra has been. I have accidentally slammed that poor thing into doorways, countertops and other areas and it looks good as new.
That usually only comes out for the non-Pro line. Unfortunately. What happened to Product:Red?
You’re seeing oil deposits I think. The light portion around the buttons is the “proper” color. What are we seeing here, the paint/coating is rubbing off (even if it's a floor model that has been handled by hundreds of people in a matter of hours)?
Correct. What are we seeing here, the paint/coating is rubbing off (even if it's a floor model that has been handled by hundreds of people in a matter of hours)?
I don't need it for pro video work but being a bird watcher I want the 5X optical zoom with its improved camera stabilization.I think a better question to post MR is how many on here actually use the Pro camera for "pro" work (ie to make money with it).
Do I "need" the Pro? No, but I sure would like one. Need vs. want … the struggle is real.
Colour doesn't matter to me - if I'm forking out over $1,500 for a pro model, I'm tossing a case on it.
