If I don't have a pending charge tomorrow morning, I'm probably going to look for store stock, attempt to pick up in store, and then cancel my order. Not sure how the iUP program messes with that, since I have a trade-in for my current preorder. Guess I'll find out tomorrow at this point. ;)

I asked the same question to a Genius in one of the stores and didnt seem to know much on this question. I am guessing, you would have to cancel the order while you are at the store with the new phone in your hand and probably have to call Citizens. Now, if the order is preparing to ship, then the cancel option is gone, and this may get tricky.

My backup option was to go the store this weekend based on availability and to check if the store employees would be able to handle the iUP situation.

My pending charge for the taxes has been pending since before the preorder date. Never dropped.

Interesting! Mine's dropped off... order hasn't shown any changes, still 9-16. It'll be interesting if it does something in the next 24 hours. I'm nervous to attempt the in store pickup considering the Citizens Loan/Trade in, but I might give it a shot and see if I can cancel the order in store.

Unfortunately for me we don’t have a store I can go to so I’ll just be waiting it out.
 
For me, my credit card & UPS were the first indications. The Apple Store didn’t show it shipped until after my CC was charge and UPS had possession.

be careful. it takes ~12-24 hours for iup eligibility to reset. if you cancel right before buying it won’t let you use iup. i’ve done this in the past

Mine original ship date was between Oct. 3rd to Oct. 5th got email stating that the phone has shipped and will receive Sept. 29th. I ordered the iPhone Pro Max natural titanium 512 gb.

Just got an email saying my black Pro Max from At&t has shipped and will be delivered tomorrow the 22nd.

Thursday already and all my Oct 9-16 orders still remain unchanged unfortunately... may try to apple store tomorrow.
 
I just got the update today as well from Apple that my phone would deliver on the 28th, however aftership shows it arriving on the 26th and UPS states it doesn't have an estimate yet. It's getting exciting now lol.

Original delivery date was Oct 4-9 but it shipped earlier today. UPS has not provided a delivery estimate yet, but I'm hoping it's like Sep 25 or something. My phone has just been sitting in ZhengZhou since 8PM local time though.

Check aftership. UPS doesn't provide me with an estimate either.

I just checked aftership. Looks like our phone is on the same plane lol. I am getting the same ETA
