Just thought I'd chime in.. I bought a 2 pack of these on Amazon prior to taking delivery of our 15PM's. When the phones came in, I immediately put them on. Shocked to say they're perfect. No dust nubbies, no mis-alignment, perfect top speaker cutout and nice rounded edge all the way around.

I truly have no idea if the slight black ring around the edge is interfering with full screen pixels. I don't think they are, but really don't care either. From my perspective, done. And now that I think about it and as I type this post I think I'll make another order for a set of spares.

These are being delivered today. I'm hoping they will be closer to the WSKEN than the Torras in terms of screen coverage.

I noticed that they have exactly the same installation kit of the Torras.

Makes me think that both brands gets their glass from the same manufacturer, strange that results are different.

Here’s my ESR armorite. It covers a very tiny amount of the screen but really nothing to be bothered about. Other than that the screen protector feels excellent.

Is it very noticeable in daily usage or you can live with it?

There's always non edge-to-edge ones, but you see a gap all around the phone which might be even more annoying.

I don't have the phone yet but deciding which screen protector to buy is a bit of a problem now. 😄
I'm pretty OCD about things looking good and aligned, and it doesn't really bother me. Like others have said, it is so slight you will barely notice it, and only if you are looking. It doesn't impact anything.

With the Torras, I have yet to notice my screen being cut off in day-to-day use so I refuse to open one of those PNG/JPG's because I know if I see it cut off then I will always see it cut off. As far as I am concerned, I got a perfect install :)
Mine is great too and also looked at camera viewfinders too (not sure why lol), but still perfect.

FYI I received a message from Ultraglass saying the updated version won’t be out until December - January.
What will change?

And have they got an official website or they only sell through Amazon.com?

They're not on Amazon Italy or Amazon UK so it's a problem for european users.

Really. Hmm, like I posted earlier, whatever version they've got now works on the 15PM. Perfect. At least the 2 pack that I bought do. If they're updating them, I wonder what is changing. I'm sitting here looking at mine right now and thinking, "what needs changed?" I have no idea..

They say they are going to reduce the black border. It encroaches slightly.

Well I'll be. I'd have to say the black boarder as it stands now is no big deal. But, if they're up for a refresh so be it. Again, I'm happy with them now. And, I've been case swapping since I got my phone.. the screen protector has never budged. It's as good as I need.

In my opinion, these screen protectors are all like a gamble: Manufacturing tolerances for size and alignment, can cause rainbow effect, qc issues with dirt beneath the protective film, probable dirt in the air of the installation place (yep, you can remove it from the screen, but within seconds it could fall on your screen, even tiny contamination is causing air pockets).

I read also, the screen of the Iphone 15 Pro (Max) is slightly curved. There are manufacturing flucturations. In some cases the protector does only stick partly.

Furthermore, the protectors are far less scratch resistant than the ceramic shield (this year its scratching less at level 6 on the Mohs scale). In addition, you have sensitivity errors. Last year i used a Spigen Ez Fit screen protector on my Iphone 14 Pro Max, i had tons of input errors. Sometimes it needed a restart.

If the protector get damaged (including of course very noticeable scratches) you have to start the gambling again.
I have seen an several years old Iphone SE 1st gen without any display protection, not even a case, the scratches are so tiny, you can see them only with highly intense led or sun light.

I purchased Apple Care+. If it got scratched to much i will replace the screen for 29 US Dollar, shortly before resale.

Yes, of course this insurance plan is costing with anti theft option 180 US Dollar for a year, but who cares? The Iphone 15 Pro Max 512 gb cost around 1700 US Dollar.

I read a lot about these screen protectors for the Iphone 15 Pro Max. Anyone has not tolerable disadvantages.

Officially it does not, but they will do it if you go in Apple store. They ask you only if you want to give up 1 of 2 per year screen maintenances.

I have nothing against screen protectors, if they are working perfectly and the installation happens without any defects. But as i said its a lottery. Just like computer displays with ag coating film. Many have dust/hairs/brins/plastic particles traping below the film. I swapped because of this up to 40 monitors per model. Just search for monitors/tvs with AUO panels :D. I cant look at pixel failures or dirt. For me its garbage.

I installed recently a Spigen ez fit on a Samsung S23. I was super cleany, but regardless of being perfect. The screen protector had "preinstalled" dust and redish colored brins. This is no single case. Heared a lot about others problems.

For the lottery i would highly recommend buy from Amazon. They refund this faulty ****, most other sellers wont. But Amazon will you annoy you afterwards, if you have sended to much back in their opinion.

There are some sapphire screen protectors for around 80 US Dollar. Imagine if this has a defect or the installation does not work perfectly.

Not everyone lives near an Apple Store, 10 hour drive for me there and back. You don’t need to spend $80 lol, mine linked above was $10AUD, $6US and works perfectly.

I’ve done 3 torras installs for myself and others. All were flawless. Happy with it except for the dust around the edges and how bad reflections and glare are. But that’s all of them.

Ordered the flolabs anti glare with the even more curved edge to try. I have the spare torras if that isn’t good.

I ordered 2 display protectors. 1 time Torras Diamond Shield and 1 x (2 x Spigen EZ fit).

Reason for this was the fact that the titanium frame of the iphone is likely to be damaged by the metal mounting of the Apple heating machine, for removing the display. So a display swap has a huge trade off, i will only take if its absolutely necessary.

I had to get my own experience. Far i can say it was horrible:

The Torras has a miserable installation, with a huge flaw. You have to drop it angular on the screen, this can adapt a lot of particles. It had few dust and 1 red brin below the glass. And one huge air bubble, plus 5 tiny. I was not able to remove them.

These air pockets were not in the contaminated areas, they looked like faulty glue, you could observe some liquid bubbles.

I cant live with the contamination and the air bubbling, so i removed the screen protector. I totally understand why some Torras users are saying, the glass is lifting over time. The sticking force is far less than with the Spigen ez fit.

Secondly i was trying one of the Spigen EZ fits. First one was also a total mess, because the ****** alignment frame wont settle directly, with a moderate amount of pressure, on the frame of the iphone. It was 1-2 mm misaligned (pretty easy to run into this trap, the space between the very stiff, vertical clips is 16.1 cm, you have 1.01 mm tolerance), so the film didnt reach the screen completly.

The few seconds of adjustment caused the contamination or it was out of the factory. I didnt check the glass for particles on the glue film.

The second ez fit worked flawlessly. Not a single contamination.

No rainbow effect, but sharp edges. But who cares, i wont do it again. To much gambling.

Everyone seems to have a different glass preference, but as far as installation goes…. The Torras is the easiest screen protector I’ve ever installed. I’ve done 5 of them now and all perfect. Takes about 2 minutes lol.

Perfect 👏. Use a led light or a full white screen and look for particles. Very unlikely its clean. You laugh, but consider im not talking about microscopic particles, mine were obvious. Especially the textile fiber.

You need a clean room for installing it without getting contamination from the atmosphere, plus the silicone film of the protector has to be absolutely clean.

I absolutely know this lottery sucks, especially if you have no seller with a very customer friendly return policy.
