Can we stop with the action button is "better" than the ring switch?
It is heavily dependent to the user's use case.
If keeping it as the ring switch adjustment, the action button is far inferior as I have no way to tell by feeling it with a touch alone.

Depends what's important to you.

I'd take the Dynamic Island and better camera over a iPhone 14 display with a worse camera, but with ChatGPT any day of the week.
Bro forgets I can use the ChatGPT app and even a ChatGPT shortcut which kills Apple Intelligence

This is the actual knockout punch in this debate

Everything seems to be a refurb

I think I would go for the 15. For $100 more, there is MagSafe, ultra wide camera, brighter display. Also it has a notch compared to dynamic island.

"1x or 2x optical zoom options" – how cropping the sensor is being considered "optical"?! :D

Misleading consumers is one thing but when tech sites are mislead and continue propagating this misinformation is another level.

To anyone in doubt: it is just a crop, nothing "optical" happening there.

Does it support x10 digital zoom?

There’s nothing gimped about this phone. It not having pro features doesn’t make it gimped.

It’s also not a budget phone. Nothing Apple does is budget.

And I know plenty of people who hold onto their phone. My best friend is happily using his iPhone 8 Plus.

Macrumors users seem to jot realized they are the minority. While most of us upgrade fairly often but the average Joe does not.

Having less features than the standard version isn't a budget phone? Apple's high prices won't matter. It will be cheaper, making it a budget phone, just like the 3 before it.

Maybe its the industry I'm in, but your best friend is an anomaly.
