Any word on the iPhone 17? The iPhone 15(not announced yet) and the iPhone 16(not expected until Sept 2024) are outdated and old news...
No the standard models got 6GB in the iPhone 14 and the Pro models since the 12 Pro
The Fact we’re not getting Variants for the M series processors is a joke.
We should expect apple to rebrand their silicon for the apple phones to the M lineup.

So Mini lasted two years and the Plus will be on its third year next year. I guess sales are better than the Mini to continue with it
This might fit nicely with another rumour - this one saying that next year Apple will switch from using the more efficient but costlier N3B to the less efficient and cheaper N3E - when in the same (next) year another rumour is claiming that Apple will introduce stacked battery technology. That new battery technology might offset, or even more than offset, any loss in battery life from moving to N3E while still giving Apple an N3E-related performance boost. Plus any cost savings from N3E can be used to offset the higher cost of stacked battery technology.

Rookie! I predict the iPhone 20 will have 16 gig and an advanced A21 chip.
I predict the iPhone 17 and 17 Plus will have an A18 chip and will likely adopt other features from the 16 Pro. It may be the first non-Pro iPhone to feature 120 Hz ProMotion.

Cannot wait till the iPhone 15 is officially released and we get rumours for the iPhone 17 with the A19 Probiotic Chipset.
I think I'll just hold off on upgrading my phone until the base model of iPhone 20 Pro starts at $2000
you know the iphone 15 is going to be disappointing when apple marketing is already "leaking" stuff about the iphone 16
Don’t believe this, N3E is also going to be used by mediated next year and others.
And for Apple to spin the A17 (different design, new maskset, validation etc) is going to cost $100M+, that’s a lot of N3B wafers you can run…

This is incorrect. The iPhone 13 & 13 Mini have 4 GB of RAM. The first non-pro iPhones to have 6 GB of RAM are the 14 and 14 Plus.
I’m guessing the iPhone 16 Pro/Ultra will stick to 8GB of RAM, but maybe get 2TB?
It’s not pointless when Apple didn’t have enough chips to be available to both models.
