Banks VitaPro. Metal buttons (with fabric backs) Buttons are a little stiff. But other than that really solid case.

With the phone out, place your thumb & finger on either side of button and push in and out with a bit of force repeatedly. Will loosen them up for you.
An old trick I use on leather cases that had stiffer buttons.

Quick reviews for 2 Spigen cases for my Titanium Black Pro 16. Can provide photos upon request.

I have mostly used Caudabe Sheaths on my last few iPhone Pros with Spigen Ultra Hybrid & other similar clear cases (ESR) mixed in. I tend to drop phones on occasion so protection, grip, & a decent lip are all important to me.

Ultra Hybrid T (Black Frost)
Just received this yesterday, was expecting it to be less grippy based on other comments here. While I don't think it's super grippy, it is good enough for me without thinking twice. I was concerned I would not like the glossy look of the edges but, it looks a little more matte in person than in pictures. It contrasts nicely with the black phone behind the frosted black back. CC button was not a big deal for me as it many of you but, it works well nonetheless. Lip on from extends a decent amount past the ESR screen protector I have on phone. Not too bulky or heavy.

Good fit all around at a good price. That is what exactly what you expect from Spigen

Side note: I found this to be of better quality and appearance than a cheaper ESR clear w black trim case I bought and returned

Tough Armor AI (Black Frost)
Bought this first and have been using it since launch day. Had no prior experience with this model but liked how it looked on Amazon and the price was good and sounded protective.

I like the translucent design of this particular color way, you can see the yellow protective foam on the inside of the back but unless you are in very bright day light, it doesn't appear very yellow-ish. In most light, it somehow reads more towards grey. Especially with the black phone in place. The magnet is visible without being pronounced. The translucent nature of it all strikes the right balance of being different while not being too bold or brash.

The case is protective and the rubbery edges feel grippy enough to my liking. It is a different feeling grip vs Sheath but I like it. Case feels a little lighter than Sheath. This case is probably slightly bulkier than Sheath. Front lips sits flush with my ESR screen protector.

Phone buttons are covered with large rectangular buttons and I had no issue with them. CC button is a large area that slopes down towards the button itself. I find it easy to use. After reading many of your comments here, the large area will undoubtedly be a deal breaker for some of you.

But for the rest, if you are looking for quality and protection in a a unique but not bold package, this is a good choice. Again, Spigen quality and price deliver a good deal.

Great reviews, thanks.

It’s worth noting that Spigen’s pricing is all over the map. For example:

Ultra Hybrid T (16PM) on the Spigen site: $54.99
Ultra Hybrid T (16PM) on Amazon US: $24.42
Ultra Hybrid T (16PM) on eBay: $20.99

These are identical cases, all new, all from officially sanctioned Spigen direct sources, not third-party.

That looks great. Unfortunately, unless they’re planning on using Sandmarc lenses or filters, most people will probably not like their camera lens surround/mount.

Looks great and it working great as well. I know it’s going to be a hit or miss with the camera area but honestly I don’t mind it. The fit is also very good this year. It’s just good to see some other brands bring the button and a good working button at that.

For sure! Looking forward to seeing more cases coming out with a camera control button over the coming months.

Wow, that is done really well, looks premium. To be fair I don't mind the camera surround, at least it stops dust/fluff getting in all the open areas.

The camera part worries me a bit. Looks like you'd have to be very careful placing the phone in so's not to catch the metal lens surrounds.

Is that the case TechnicallyTee or is it not an issue?

Review coming for sure. Going to use it today and then knock the video out. Really want people to see it since they have been beating my door down about cases with the camera control button.
Thanks! How’s the front lip and the MagSafe strength?

I don’t think you have to worry about that. Might be thinking too much into it.

Definitely noticed. I ordered the UHT from Amazon and I was tired of waiting for the ever changing ship date so I ordered it from EBay. Then I cancelled from Amazon but it shipped anyway. Once the EBay shipment arrives, I’ll send that one back to Amazon and save a few bucks.

Anyone have the peak design case ? If so are the sides and the area new camera control sturdy ?

Great - someone add it to the list of sapphire CC cases.
[there is a list of these somewhere on MR, isn't there...?? if not, someone wiki this thread to add them to the first post.]

(note: "AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 2024" - which is either the end of next week or up to 5 weeks time, lol!)
I added the list of cases with camera control buttons to the WikiPost (first post in this thread).

Received my "Military Grade" PITAKA case today. Here are some photos comparing it to the regular Aramid Fiber case on the desert titanium iPhone 16 Pro

Positive:

+ The camera frame is not as sharp as the regular Aramid Fiber case. In fact, it was so sharp, it literally cracked the screen protector on my Galaxy Fold 6 while I was carrying both in the same pants pocket.
+ Better protection
+ the gold matches the desert titanium much better than the silver on the Aramid Fiber case

Negative:

- not as thin as the regular Aramid Fiber case
- does not feel as nice as the Aramid Fiber case - it feels more like a regular case

It literally feels like plastic but anodized aluminum also makes sense. Either way I still am not concerned at all on the camera bump chipping and I put my case on its back all the time.

What I’ve realized with all these cases is that there will always be something to nitpick about with every single one of them. Choose what you like and just enjoy it whether others like it or agree with it or not lol
I just dont understand why the case has partial cut outs for all buttons. Seems like a way to get dirt and debris in the case.

The camera lip also barely goes over the camera ring. :/

Looks nice, and I think I could live with the camera surround. But the big logo on the back is a no for me. Why Not make it discreet, on the side, similar to what Nomad is doing. Better yet, logo only on the inside, which is what Nomad used to do.

Because it is a thin minimalist case. Design wise if it added buttons it wouldn’t stay that slim which defeats the purpose. That’s why there’s the ArmorPro vs the ArmorAir for example.

I honestly think the dirt and debris ordeal that I hear so many people talk about with cases is over exaggerated in my opinion. I’m not concerned about that. I’ve taken my phone out a couple times out of the case already and it was just fine whether there’s a few pieces of dust in it or not.

The camera bump is just fine for me and doesn’t seem to be any less than most cases I’ve tried. I put my phone down on its back with 0 issues. Not sure how much higher you’d want it to be.

If you’re looking for scratch protection and appreciate the minimal design to complement the iPhone and keep it feeling like it’s meant to be, it’s the case for you. If not there’s plenty of higher protection bulkier cases out there so that your phone is totally protected. It just boils down to preference and what you’re comfortable with.
