This post explains the camera control button situation with Apple and third-party case manufacturers. Apparently those companies claiming there is a patent issue preventing them from incorporating a camera control button are either mis-informed or blowing smoke.
Caudabe Synthesis with camera control button would be the perfect case IMO, haven't used my Paragon much at all.
I’d prefer the sheath but I’d gladly take a synthesis with a CC button.

Between the Sheath, Synthesis and Paragon, IMO Synthesis is the better of the three.

I think it’s funny that an off brand like Meifigno on Amazon has a $19 case with a good camera control button yet Caudabe and others can’t seem to manage it.

A good point, though I would think most “average consumers” are not buying Caudabe cases in the first place. The non-techie people in my life buy whatever case is at their local big box store or above the fold on Amazon.
