Yes I would assume so. The weaves feel like little bumps all over the case vs the smooth finish of the regular black. It feels so nice in the hand and creates more grip/less fingerprints. Almost hard to go back to regular black after this.

Just got this in today. Feel real good in hand. The aramid is too smooth and slippery but I like how it feels and looks.
Brand is Lonli. Never heard of it. I purchased from eBay. Its still brand new but got it for a good price.
Camera cutout has a good access point, good sliding feel. Back camera has good lip as does the case all around. The back has somewhat of a small lip as well. When in pocket I kinda get confused which side is the front. Aramid feels very smooth. Buttons clickiness feel good. They’re responsive but could be better clickiness. They feel like Ryan London clicks. The bumper almost feels like a Caudabe. Very good grip in hand.

With these cases being so damn rigid why don't they have full coverage? I hate the look of all of the cutouts. Does anyone make a thin aramid case with no cutouts (except the CC button)?

The Spigen case is good; but it does get a bit boring just being all black and the UAG case colours really pop
The camera button is spotless; even with my rough hands etc

The UAG cases are solid; I've big hands/fingers so it suits me
I've got the Nomad Yellow Rocky Point strap for my black AWU2 also and that suits the UAG case well/vice versa
The current Nomad cases for the 16PM are boring. They did a superb orange one for the 15PM
I wrote off UAG this year but that yellow Pathfinder has my attention

However I've got my Ultimal yellow strap on and they're a good match also

But stuff like that doesn't bother me as I never use the phone flat on a surface
Nomad Magma Sport case in today and it's my favorite orange case to date. Tight fit, excellent buttons, slim, feels good in the hand ETC. The back is not as "Matte" as I would like and is still quite shiny & slippery. I'm an orange fiend, so I love it.

Caudabe, Nomad, Bandwerk - best to worst.
Of course, the Nomad seems to come with a complimentary iPhone.
So I assume holding this you feel a lot of sharp edges?
