I'm definitely put off by that design change and see it as a downgrade when they go to using button-cover with slits. I'm not letting them off the hook for cheapening out like that. Speaking for myself, purchasing it lets them know it's okay to downgrade it and that we'll put up with it. In my opinion I think the aramid wrapping around is a huge upgrade, it makes a more rigid and tighter case, while grip is the same since the aramid is coated in their rubberized coating. I'd give the Benks a point above Pitaka since the aramid basically covers the 4/5 of the edge, while the pitaka only does 1/2. There is literally no pulling the edges off like a TPU edge. While the Phone Rebel which I feel has the tightest fit, you can actually pull the TPU sides on that, the Benks Prestige is zero pull other than the bottom where it is just TPU. I'm more impressed by the prestige the more I use it.I put off using my 600D ArmorPro due to the change in buttons but eventually put it on and loved it!. The only thing letting it down was the lack of button, so was happy they decided to add it.
Honestly, would have preferred they stayed with the metal buttons but don't let the new design put you off.
Don't like the Aurora colour & pattern and even less so the way the aramid wraps around which lessens the grip.
The new texture on the TPU coated ArmorPro sides are an improvement on the old design.
