I really wish they had kept the black ring around the camera, it’s really killing it for me, haven’t used it since it arrived a week or so ago. I’ll get around to it but in no rush sadly

had to try it. i’ve had several arc pulses over the years but never tried with a skin. i really like the matte finish and that the arc logo isn’t so shiny and visible. i’ve never had this version. i didn’t feel like i had to force it on. it seemed like the same fit as in the past. also i didn’t feel like i messed up the skin. we’ll see when i remove the arc pulse. the only negative so far is the magsafe strength is less. maybe that’s why i’ve never felt like the grip had a strong magsafe.

edit: the screen protector is the flolab matte. i really like it.

The intention is to make the case as thin and light as possible. Adding buttons would require the sides to be thicker and to be made with a flexible material (the aramid is very stiff), which would completely defeat the purpose of the design. If you want more coverage in aramid go with one of the hybrid cases from Pitaka or Benks that are a combination of aramid back shell with TPU sides. These offer full coverage, but weigh roughly 10-15 grams more than the pure aramid cases.

Seems dumb when you think about it to cover the buttons on the phone, as no case will be as good lol

Finding that out as have no case till Monday.

That looks really good. If I didn't switch cases so much, I'd totally do something like that.
