This won’t be my everyday case. I need one heavy duty case for a few situations that come up now and then, hopefully this one will fit the bill. It was one of my most used cases last year so I know what to expect.
Yea, they have always been good at shipping stuff out right away.
Also, the newer buttons do not have any protection on the backs, but I have never had a problem with them scratching my phones buttons.
Yea, it does suck. I'm waiting for the orange folding set to be available as I want the flat orange buttons.
I haven’t watched the video yet but I’ve decided if I can’t try with easy returns (Apple/Amazon) I won’t bother as it’ll come from the U.S. Plus it’ll only get half a years use now and the Tough Ultra set is OOS so even more waiting and extra shipping.

Gen 6 Ultra is SOLID! Literally no complaints. CC button is excellent. The case is complete now.

Looking for a case, and it seems impossible to find a case with these specs:
open bottom
bigger cut out at the camera control button, like this one:
nice leather, or even better vegan leather
but if it's not leather this would be okay as well.
But it seems there is no case with open bottom and the bigger CC button cut out? Seems odd to me, since the open button and the bigger cut out seem to match in the philosophy of leaving some open spots?
Any ideas?

My guess is that there’s a build reason for that not to be available. Open bottom + big cutout would only leave a small portion of case to cover that bottom corner of the phone, probably leading to loose fit issues.

I suppose their response is not entirely unreasonable. It is a metal case after all, so some minor scratches are expected.
I guess from my perspective, vegan leather is barely (if even) an upgrade from silicone. FineWoven was the right idea, but with poor implementation. My guess is that they’ll eventually release what amounts to a FW2 that is more stain and scratch resistant (thinking of some of the high thread count fabrics in the outdoor clothing market that are quite durable).
Phone Rebel Ultra in the neighborhood. Very curious about this one…
