Man I genuinely like this case a lot but the only thing I'm not liking is the weight... Compared to my apple silicone case, this case is noticeably heavier. I'm really debating on returning it and sticking with my silicone case as I do love the apple silicone case and how thin it is. However, I do love the feel and the color of the sheath so I’m unsure… Decisions decisions

The Sheath used to be really light and minimalist, but it’s gotten heavier over the years to the point that it now weighs 50 grams (16PM), which is up there. For comparison, the Benks Prestige weighs 38 grams while providing at least the same level of protection.

Yeah the weight definitely is a con for me. It’s not the biggest deal I guess because, aside from that, I absolutely love the case.

Maybe I’ll just end up keeping both the Apple silicone and the sheath haha. Both cases are great, imo.

I’m in a “wait and see” mode. It depends upon how much of a tariff tax ends up getting tacked on.

PS - If the camera is not significantly improved, I’ll have no good reason to upgrade.

What I hate about this year’s Sheath is that the MagSafe ring pops out of the case. I’m not talking about trace on it; the ring literally pops out on the back, and you can see and feel that back is not flat. The first case they replaced, situation was a little bit better, and on my latest Sheath Eucalyptus, issue is only slightly present.
That’s why I like Synthesis more this year. I hope for Paragon to be the perfect one since Synthesis is not available with the cc button..

Hmm...thanks for pointing that out. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out with my Torras magsafe ring/kickstand.

Hopefully Caudabe will eventually adopt an ultrathin MagSafe tech similar to Pitaka, which would likely solve these problems they’ve been having for the past few years.

Welp, I officially decided on returning the sheath. I was using it for the past few days but the weight is very noticeable. It also made me realize the apple silicone is definitely my favorite case out there. Just wish they had a navy blue one

Tbh, sheath for that weight should provide more protection. The back is too thick now. They should reduce the thickness of the back and increase the screen lip a little bit.
Synthesis is way better balanced, but the texture of sheath is better.
