Ruby Red Paragon came in today. Not sure I 100% love it. The attached photos of it, taken from my iPad, make the colors look a lot more vibrant than they actually are. I also find the sheen on the back of the case gives off cheap vibes. Additionally, as others have mentioned, the lip of the case is minimal so my screen protector (FloLab) is going to catch the grunt of any front facing fall though it may very well be the DBrand skin I have on causing it.

Yeah not a fan of the look of that.

I don’t like red as a colour anyway but like the Ember and Seaglass versions of the Paragon, they definitely look cheap

52 Days Later - The Paragon is finally here - I installed the ember (orange) buttons and took these quick pictures. The button works just fine, the back is slippery as a greased pig, the sides have pretty decent grip though. I believe the CC button is a liitle more refined on the Paragon than the Sheath. Between this and the Sheath, I'm digging the Sheath much better. Here are a few pics, the buttons look red because of my orange background ;)

Yes, Sheath any day between the looks of those two. I have the Celestial Blue with those ember buttons and am definitely happy about my choice.

Caudabe buttons, are they the same? The Paragon & Sheath buttons look the same to me. The only difference on the packaging is the Paragon has 2.3 and the Sheath has 2.4

What you think, they the same?

Yup Sheath looks better.

There is basically zero front screen protection with the Paragon.
Maybe a tiny bit on the top & bottom, sides = nothing.

Does the lip rise up at the top and bottom like on the Mous Limitless, or is the screen protector protruding all the way around?
The top & bottom rise up a tiny bit above the screen protector, looks almost flush to me.
The sides are definitely exposed. Lack of any side lip is why the CC button is off centered and closer to the front with the Paragon.

Yea, definitely not worth the hype and a 52 day wait.
It's a good case and I love the stealth black look. IMO the Sheath is a much better all around case.
It’s not a bad case…. Just not a $50 one either. In hindsight, wishing I had gone Moonstone over Ruby Red.
