Just seen that Tineeowl did a navy blue case for the 15 series. Shame they didn’t do this for the 16! Would have been the case of all cases for me I think

Shame they didn't make it for the 16 Pro, I would have preferred the navy blue to the almost black. My Sheath is navy blue, as is the Speck Presidio Grip2 I bought before it.
The almost black TineeOwl was delivered today (I ordered it two days ago). I like the texturing of the back better on the Sheath, but I prefer the Owl's texturing on the sides with the little dots. The back of the Owl feels a little more slippery, maybe it will feel different after I use it for a while. I like that the sides of the Owl are a little rounded, makes it easier to pick up and hold onto, and it makes the case feel a little softer in hand. There's enough of a lip around the screen to offer protection when you set your phone face down. The case fits tightly, but is easy enough to install/remove.
The cutouts around the speaker/microphone and USB-C port are perfectly aligned and the USB-C looks to offer enough room for larger/non-Apple cables. I don't feel the cutouts under my pinky when holding the phone, so that's a plus.
I do like the round Action button, it makes it easier to find it by feel without looking. All the buttons work and feel fine, I don't object to them being the same material as the case rather than metal/plastic (whichever they are) buttons on the Sheath. They're clicky enough to feel the feedback when you push them, but they're not difficult to push or sticky.
MagSafe magnets on the back of the case feel plenty strong - at least as strong as the Sheath, if not stronger. I tried it with a wallet and my desktop charger, a better test will be when I take it out for a drive in my car mount.
CC button - whatever. The CC button on the case has never been a big deal to me so I couldn't care less if it was there or not, I got along fine with the non-CC Sheath. It works fine when you push it (both full push and half push), it's a little temperamental when scrolling side to side in the adjustments. I rarely use the CC button, so I don't see it being a big deal to me either way.
The Owl weighs 42 g, compared to 42 g for the Sheath and 40 g for the Presidio Grip 2.
With the TineeOwl at $18.99 on Amazon compared to the Sheath at $52.00 on their site (not even available on Amazon), the Owl offers a lot more bang for the buck. I can't see anything that would make me choose the Sheath over the Owl, especially given the customer service issues people have been experiencing with Caudabe.
