ESR Clear Hybrid on both White and Black Titanium. Black a little harder to capture without reflections, but it looks great in person!

Has anyone tried the Spigen Thin Fit? I remember having one back in the day, like iPhone 11 days. Thin rigid case with soft touch texture made it great for grip while being thin. I think I switched off of it because they didn’t have MagSafe.

The strip of plastic where the camera control cutout connects to the front of the screen is loose is what the member said at the time.

They were available for a week or so and then they all became unavailable. It recently came back up with an estimated delivery of end of October.

I wouldn't say it's loose. I would say it's thinner and can move a bit if you hit it right. That's just the nature of the cutout for the camera button and not sure how they would mitigate that without redesigning the entire case and not having a cutout.

I would say it went out of stock because it's a popular case every year and people buy them. Happened last year and the year before. Then they come back in stock, what you see here.

A few pics of the Otterbox Lumen on my black 16PM. Initial impression is that it’s a nice case. Tight fit, buttons are good, cutouts are good, and the camera control cover is excellent.

It’s glossy, but has a sort of tacky feel, which some will like and others might not. I’m guessing fingerprints are going to be an issue, not sure about scratches.

The front lip is perhaps just slightly more prominent than the lip on the Apple Silicone while covering more of the bezel, so there’s less room for dust to collect, which is nice. It’s a very good fit with the Belkin UG.

My initial impression is that the Otterbox and Apple camera control covers are equally responsive. This case is slightly stiffer, so the shutter release takes slightly more pressure to activate (just slightly) which may be off-putting for some (works fine for me). Swiping is equally responsive, and because the cover is just slightly inset to the rim of the case, it’s actually easier to tell where your finger is on the button surface without looking (hunting for the control without looking is a minor issue for me with the Apple).

We’ll see how it goes over the next few days, but so far it seems pretty good.

This looks great … is the fit tight like a cactus case or speck case ? I recall last years was a little weak near the buttons and bottom area .

Is there any case out there that has stand-alone floating buttons, a capacitive camera control button and isn’t the Apple silicone or Beats case?

This looks so good with the white PM. I just can’t bring myself to pay £20 shipping (in the UK).

Going to order one now. Will report back!

Has anyone been rocking the apple silicone case for the past few weeks? I’ve always been reluctant about it due to its durability issues, but seeing some comments here that they may have upgraded it from past silicone cases?

Has anyone been seeing any degradation with the case thus far? How is the case different from previous models?
I've been using the Denim Apple Silicone Case since release day, and I love it. I haven't seen any degradation in the case. I also haven't seen any of the lint/dirt accumulation that folks mentioned about versions from past years. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with it.

Does the Sheath have a more softer bottom than the Synthesis, the Sheath being TPU and the Synthesis being a hard case?

That’s the only thing that is a bit difficult on the Synthesis: it’s quite hard on the poor pinky.
The Synthesis uses the same material as the Sheath around the sides (TPU). The difference is just in the back material, which is polycarbonate on the Synthesis.

This thread kills me. Bought quite a few cases for my 15 PM and they became useless with the 16 PM. So far I already have 3 cases. I need to stop. I really hope the phones don't change for a couple years.

Yeah, I’ve never used the synthesis, but that does make sense.

I don’t really feel like the Sheath hurts though. I mean, it’s a heavy phone with a case that adds weight. But I think that’s easy to get used to. I got used to the weight of the Clarity 3.0 too, so I’m not too worried!

I prefer silicone over coated aramid fiber which is horrible for fingerprints. Textured TPU is better, but as of now we don’t have a case in that material that includes a capacitive camera control cover, so silicone it is.

Was the 15PM your first iPhone? I've had iPhones since the 3G (2008), and don't ever remember being able to reuse a case from one model to the next. There's always some little change that's enough to not make them work.

It's the ones who are too hung up on having to have a cover for the new button posting over and over again. For the price, the silicone is not worth it in my opinion.

Depends on the color. Dust will be more apparent on the darker colors, less so on lighter.
+1. I am struggling with it. I usually get the light ones too. So it’s never an issue but I tried two colors and decided I couldn’t cope with the color so i went with black until Bullstrap sends me a case. I have so much cat hair on my phone it’s ridiculous lol November can’t come soon enough
