Man don’t know how to explain it either but Tee was right. This 6th gen rebel frosted feels so damn good in the hand with the round corners. And it does feel and even look a little thinner than last years. Had my Ryan London on for a day and don’t even want to switch back anymore lol

I've seen a few cases that have a built-in button that covers the camera control button. Is the inside of these sapphire or silicon/plastic? I'm thinking sapphire on sapphire is not gonna be great over time for scratching that button? And if it's plastic or silicon how does it work then?

I've used Supcase a lot in the past. Their case on amazon looks like it has copper pins that touch the Sapphire button. Maybe that's not gonna scratch it?

Any of these good? Worried about the copper touching the button on the Supcases.
I returned the SupCases even before receiving the phone. They were too bulky for my liking. I have seen reviews of their button not being that responsive. I wouldn’t recommend them.

The Spigen took so long to even ship out that I cancelled the ordered so can’t speak on that one personally but I’ve heard the button is nice and responsive pretty much as good as the Apple/Beats cases.

I had the Supcase but returned it. The button cover works, but it’s not as responsive/accurate as those on the Apple cases and Otterbox Lumen. I have a Spigen Ultra Hybrid T coming this weekend, I’m curious to see how it compares.

Personally, I wouldn’t worry about the copper scratching sapphire as it’s far softer.

Do you know if the Lumen button cover has the copper on the other side or what material it is? I'm torn between that and the Silicon case at least for the time being, and since they're both $40 I'm leaning on the Otterbox.

Only the Supcase has exposed copper. The Lumen cover looks very similar to the Apple. I don’t know what the material is, but it’s not metal or anything that looks as if it could scratch sapphire.

Lumen, beats and Apple cases has sapphire. Spigen is glass. Supcase is copper.

Supcase will be a great case for those who will seldom use the camera button.

It’s been great so far. I haven’t been swapping back and forth, plan to run this one for a while to see how it wears before switching over to the gray. I also have a black Lumen arriving today and a frost black Ultra Hybrid T arriving this weekend. I’m mostly curious about the camera control covers on the Otterbox and Spigen, though I’m open to one or the other replacing the Apple if they’re better than expected. Seems unlikely though as I’m pretty well satisfied with the Apple.
Curious on your thoughts later on the Spigen UHTM. It’s my top so far. The CC button seemed to be wider than Apple / Otterbox, which gave more finger pad contact - felt better to me.

I was a huge fan of the Apple Leather case, and really dislike the FineWoven case (like Apple it seems),
For the 15 pro I used mostly the Silicon case but now I think I found the best case for me.

It’s the Nomad Modern Leather Case in Green Chrome Horween, this case has a great fit and the smell of the leather is amazing, it looks like it give a great protection and the hole for the camera button is ok, I really like this one and recommend

Looks nice. I tried that case and still did not seem as minimalistic as Apples leather case, which was my favorite. I have found nothing that replicates Apples leather cases. I am giving up and just going caseless.

Was the 15PM your first iPhone? I've had iPhones since the 3G (2008), and don't ever remember being able to reuse a case from one model to the next. There's always some little change that's enough to not make them work.

Not at all. I've had all the iPhones from 3G to now (except 11/12). There were a few iterations where you could reuse the case. Typically I don't use cases but the past year and a half, I am liking the ability to "change my look" with cases.

I 100% agree, but for now it’s better than everything else I tried.

The Apple leather cases were the best for me too. At the moment I’m using an Andar case but am finding the lip rather too high. Tempted to go caseless but find the phone quite slippery, ideally I’d like this magnetic leather back, but so far it is unavailable for the 16 Plus.

Thanks for the post! Your pictures actually look green. The Nomad site pictures of the case look black. Just purchased.

Any of these good? Worried about the copper touching the button on the Supcases.

I have the Supcase in blue, and I originally was going to return it because the camera button is less responsive than other solutions (the button on the Apple Silicone works just like the bare button)...the Supcase takes much more deliberate swipes to use. With that said, I decided to keep it, as overall, while a more substantial case, it's actually VERY comfortable to hold and use. The sides are slightly angled back, which makes it easier to grip and hold, and less sharp...so it sits in my hand and on my fingers more comfortably than a lot of other cases. Looks pretty good too.

Honestly my biggest issue with the case is the magnet strength. It is ridiculously strong, and that actually annoys me quite a lot. I use a magsafe charger in a stand by my bedside for evening charging, and use the StandBy as my bedside clock. However, the Supcase magnets are so strong that I can't remove the phone from the stand without pulling the magsafe puck out of the stand holder...and then I have to remove the puck and put it back in the stand.

I always own several cases, so they go in rotation based on what I'm doing, what my homescreen looks like (which I also change regularly) and such, but the magnet thing annoys me on what is otherwise a pretty decent case. I'm not worried about scratches because copper is very soft and it isn't going to scratch glass/sapphire.

I have one coming today. I will let you know how I like it.

I have been in the Apple case for the past week. It isn't bad. It has good coverage and a good feel. I prefer a stronger magnet like the ones Supcase and ESR have been using. PhoneRebel has been my daily on all of my phones (once he finally gets them out) for about four years now.

I currently have the Spigen Hybrid T on, and I like the feel! It has a tacky feel and good buttons. The camera control is as good as the Apple one. The only thing I am missing this year on almost every case - is just a slightly better lip around the front (even if only on the corners), and the camera protection this year is the most minimal I have seen across the board. That is great for most. I like the extra security, as I have had to have a lens replaced once, and I like the peace of mind.

I got my Gray Formula case today. The case is almost perfect except I wish the sides were textured for more grip. It’s not slippery but I would like a tad more grip. I am surprised how well the smoke gray hides fingerprints and smudges. Overall great case.
Can't decide if I should go for the Gray or Black Frosted...
I feel like the Sides of the Gray may get dirty/change colour whilst the Black Frosted will not have this issue..

I have always used Speck Presido2 Grip cases, the cut-out for the camera 'button' is rather bothersome, is anyone else in the same boat, if so what case did you end up going with?
