There is no greater case than Apple Silicone for iPhone 16 series. Period.

End of story for me.
Thats me done looking for cases.
Of course I’ll watch this thread but from a distance.
Usually agree. I removed the Apple silicon case for the first time and it cracked, the sides split at the new camera button and volume button. Looks like a bad design. Probably okay if you rarely change cases, but I change them frequently.

I disagree.
Not only do they completely cover the beauty of the design and colors with generic silicone, but they also attract lint and are a pain to get in and out of jeans pockets. In my opinion, they’re fine for the regular 16 range, which doesn’t look that hot anyway, but not for the Pros.
Don’t leave us hanging; which case do you recommend for the Pros? :)

And even better, I’m at the Apple Store in Robina, Aus, and they say it’s wear & tear. No replacement.

I’m giving the armor air a try since there’s no buttons or cut outs for the Cam control. Just openings all around for the buttons. I got the black with black camera ring. They didn’t have that color way on Amazon when I looked.

Which did you go with?
I got the same one. The regular black ArmorAir as well. It looks awesome with the black iPhone and it’s been my only case and it’ll be hard to top it for me.

I have an ArmorAir and a Pitaka Tactile Woven coming tomorrow. I’m anticipating that I may return both, but hoping I’m pleasantly surprised and end up keeping one or the other as my “thin case”.

When I got my 16 Pro, I bought this case and was fairly content with it. It‘s my first case with a kickstand and I don’t know why I didn’t try one YEARS ago. It took some getting use to the cutout for the camera button.

I was at the Apple Store this weekend and I happened to look at/try the Apple Silicone cases and boy oh boy do I like that they have the capacitive button over the camera control vs a cutout. I immediately went looking for a case like mine, but without the cutout.

Unfortunately, I can’t find what I am looking for. Spigen does make this but it doesn’t have a kickstand. It would be perfect otherwise. I found a few cases with MagSafe, a capacitive button and a stand, but the stands are all round and part of the MagSafe Ring. I really like the straight ”Kickstand” style like my current Spigen. Hoping they will make a case that has everything I want.

I have searched A lot but didn’t have any luck finding exactly what I want. Anyone know of a case that fits the bill of what I’m looking for?

To answer my own question, the Spigen Ultra Hybrid T is pretty much perfect. The raised corner lips do exist, but seem smooth and not bothersome on the unit I received. Very well made case and the camera control works great. I know this will yellow on the sides, but for $25 it’s worth getting a few months of use. I also have Apple Silicone cases and a Beats case so hopefully it won’t yellow much as I rotate my cases.

I am curious about the Otterbox Symmetry with Camera Control which is “coming soon”. Is the symmetry supposed to be thicker/bulkier than the Lumen series?
How is the grip on the Ultra Hybrid T?

It sounds like what you’re looking for is the Spigen Tough Armor T AI:

Random question: For the Apple silicone cases, has anyone used a 70% isopropyl alcohol wipe or something similar to clean it? Any damage? Research shows very conflicting results when using alcohol on a silicone case to give it a good cleaning. Some say it's perfectly fine, while others say it removes a layer of coloring and destroys it.
This is from Apple support:

iPhone case—silicone or clear

To clean your silicone or clear iPhone case, remove your iPhone from the case. Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the outside and the inside of the iPhone case. Don't use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide to clean the iPhone case.

Same as always, thumbs on the top corners, push the camera bump through with the index finger and crack. Hope you stay crack free.
I’ve never removed a case your way. I always push out through the camera hole and pop off the bottom corner on the same side. This is the exact opposite of the way I install the case.

With your way you are pushing and flexing the case across the shorter weaker axis and putting more stress on the sides with the buttons which led to your predicament.

I use a drop of washing up liquid on mine. No issues at all

You getting one?

I was going to order frosted one but metal camera surround i dont want that.
I'm pretty much done with Phone Rebel after they screwed me out of my free limited button set :(

The Gen 6 frosty is slippery as a wet bar of soap and the Air 2 will have a nasty Magsafe ring on the back after a few charges.

Thank I'll pass on the Air 2
