Tried my Benks ArmorPro for a day and it was ok and actually got used to the cut out, but put the Apple Silicone back on and it's like putting on your favourite comfortable trainers.

I tried to like the silicone but the bottom left corner kept popping out when taking out of pocket. This has been an issue for me with last few iPhones.

I have purchasd the casebelle vintage luxe leather case in sepia brown. Its a great case, lovely soft leather and no ugly branding. Im interested to see how it wears. Only downside is, no camera button, but im not sure that complete unicorn case is going to emerge this year so im more than happy with this one and it had £20 off on an early bird offer too. 😊

These types of ultra-thin cases tend to make me nervous, but the CC has me curious about how they perform compared to beefier cases that have either a button or a cutout. I have to admit that it makes the phone feel really nice, very close to naked, and direct access to the CC is super. There is no front lip at all so I keep catching myself starting to lay it face down before remembering to place it on its back. I’m going to give it at least a few days to see if I adapt or not.

I have a similar Benks coming later today (ArmorAir), it will be interesting to compare the two.

How is this case holding up ? Im itching for something new because my silicone cases are not wearing well and my OB lumen already has scratches so I have this and a vaja leather in mind ..

Ringke Onyx MagSafe would be the GCOAT but too slippery.

Great design but slippery.

Near perfection.

The camera ring on mine came loose. It’s still in place, but you can hear it snap and shift when taking the case off. Not a big deal but a disappointment for such a pricey case. I also wasn’t enjoying the cutouts, which became tiresome after a few days (this might be worse for me being a lefty.) I’ll be returning it to Amazon.

We’re all aware of the drawbacks of the AS, so I won’t go over them again. The plusses include the form factor that so closely mimics the phone, the lining which covers the back and the sides, the relatively light weight for a case that covers the entire phone, the best implementation of the camera control (though the Spigen is also very good, just perhaps not quite as consistent when swiping quickly), and the hand comfort as mentioned above. After taking various detours, it’s still my #1 so far this year, but with the usual caveats.

I still need to break out my gray one. Been rolling in the Sheath but that cutout is 🤢

Returned my Denon blue silicone case for the clear one. Silicone felt nice and secure in hand the clear one is slippy but seems better protection than silicone
Clear one fits tighter and less likely to come off at corners like silicone
Pity there wasn’t a clear silicone one made

The Spigen Ultra Hybrid T is a clear case and is far better then the official Apple clear one and less than half the price.

I had the Apple clear case. It had a very slippery grip and gathered greasy finger prints so fast I though they were being pulled out of the air by magic. It went back the next day.

Kudos to Apple for giving me a prepaid return label and no deduction from my refund for shipping.

With the FineWoven wallet nonetheless. Is it from 2023 or newer? It looks pristine. I used a FineWoven on my 15PM and it lasted fine for the 12 months I had the phone. Other than the price for FW (should've been at or < AS $), I liked FineWoven. It was one of my most frequently used.

I'm a fan of the Apple MagSafe wallets - got three in leather last year before they were discontinued.

It’s puzzling that Caudabe has chosen to forgo updating their cases with a capacitive button. Perhaps they’re gun shy after all the headaches they had with the Action button last year.
I don’t really mind the way Caudabe handled the camera control button. It’s still much better than Mouse did with that huge cutout. I’m still using the Clarity 3.0, but saw a picture somewhere of someone smashing the iPhone screen, right at the spot where the camera control button is. So, I’m a bit worried.

I just can't get on with the camera control cutouts this year. It's not that they aren't functional - they are - they just feel really weird in the hand, like there was a chunk taken out of the case that should otherwise be there. All the cases with the cutouts feel half-baked because you know they will ultimately replace the cutouts with a proper button.

It’s an OG wallet from September 2023. It’s held up remarkably well.

I actually liked the FW case once I got one that fit properly and didn’t creak. It was one of the most comfortable cases out there, if only it would’ve been more durable. I hope we eventually get a premium case from Apple that actually surpasses leather - maybe for the IP17.

Besides the unattractive look and diminished protection, I also dislike the way cutouts feel. My preference is for the perfectly flush design Apple is using, which disappears until you need to use it. Hoping more third-party manufacturers are eventually able to do the same.

Looking at my black Apple silicone case, trying to like it more and get past the lint situation, I’ve noticed it has the seam line others have mentioned. It runs from the bottom left corner, up and over the top, disappearing at the top of the cc button.

Ordered the Spigen UHT in frost black last night, eta end of the month/early November. A shame the clear case with graphite mag ring doesn’t have the black cc button, I would have bought that. Still keen for a leather case, waiting to see if anyone does a cc button.

The leather cases will come. I’ve already heard from two companies who plan to redo their cases for end of this year and next year.
