Fit is excellent. Hardly a gap between case and screen protector. Buttons fine. Rattle but fine. Feels quite light and sleek. Decent grip on sides and rear. The CC button cut out is the best I’ve felt and seen. Makes you wonder if it needs a cover. I don’t think so.

Negatives, tpu feels very flimsy around the CC button. Buttons rattle. Like new caudabe ones so not a massive issue.

Overall I’m very happy.

Thanks for your report. Did you happen to weigh it? Last year it weighed 54 grams, so on the heavy side. I understand it’s supposed to be lighter this year.

That’s odd about the rattling buttons; last year’s were perfect, with no rattles.

The flimsy bit above the camera control is a disappointment. I wish these companies designing cutouts would use a PC frame to reinforce that area (I was told Speck did this).

It looks good, but I’ll be waiting for the CC button version.

I’m not sure we are getting that version. All traces of it were removed from the site. I hope we do.

Leather Decoded 16 Pro Max came today! (like others said, 3 days from the Netherlands is fast!)
Very nice quality case. Feels great! Button are very good, nice lip on the front. The camera control cutout is nice and easy to use. My only dislike is the cutout ends basically where the phone ends, so I think it will be very easy for dust and such to get stuck in between the phone and case.
The cutout is very big!

Honestly that area isn't that flimsy near the CC cutout imo, it has the material where I feel you aren't going to need to worry about it. Its juuuuusttttt stiff enough I feel to not be a problem...

Phone Rebel gen 6 video getting edited as we speak.

Is Phone Rebel still making the Rebel with the camera control button or has that been scrapped?

Capture button arrived today and it works very well, it just lifts the case a little with the thin lugs that hold it in place. Only tried with Benks ArmorPro so might be better with other cases.
Gone back to Apple Silicone.

Where did you order the capture button from?

It is! And definitely the largest out of the cases I own.

I think the issue with cutouts on cases in general, particularly leather ones, is not so much how big the cut out is but how recessed the camera control button is from the cutout.

If it's not completely pressed against the body, like a lot of TPU/plastic cases are, it is such a chore to get to. A lot of the ones I've seen in photos, and the two I experienced, the cut out was floating above the frame a bit.

I'm glad my Le Pelle Amazon leather case just has a big old chunk removed from the side. Lesser of two evils IMO.

The Aliexpress leathers I tried that have the surrounding cut out make camera control hard, almost impossible, to use without carefully paying attention.

How does it stick on?
Not sure if my OCD could live with this

what’s making the case warp on the side ? Does the the button have something sticking out ? I’m hoping to use this on the Gen 6

I ordered 2 gen6 cases and glad I did. Other one has issue where the fibre is slightly raised on the bottom right. I remember similar issues with gen5.
