You are missing out if you don't use the button, it just takes a few days of perseverance to get the muscle memory and once you are used to it I'm positive you'll prefer it.

THIS! I really need to work on that because I know I'll appreciate it once it becomes second nature. Same with the action button since this is my first iPhone with that as well. I have that set to open my email app and really need to remember that!

Ha...that's what I've been using as my supposed interim case while waiting for a CC button case. I love the adjustable ring stand but not quite grippy enough for my taste. I guess I'll have to settle for a magsafe attachable stand if I get a CC button case and it isn't this one.

Arc Pulse in the house. Morbid curiosity got the best of me, I just had to give it a try. Now that I have it, I can’t decide yet if it’s genius or an abomination… lol.

Right off the bat, a few things I like: it’s light as a feather; it’s well-made, probably overpriced but not outrageous for something machined out of a block of alloy then polished to this level; full access to the phone is frickin’ amazing.

Things I may or may not get used to: it’s an unusual look, which I can’t get my head around quite yet; the bare phone is slippery, though the corners make it more comfortable than it would be otherwise; I’m guessing I’m going to get lots of comments about it when out in public, which I’m not looking forward to.

Unless I absolutely can’t stand it, I’m going to leave it on the phone for at least a week to get a good feel for it. I’ll report back on how it goes.

I’ve done the Pitakas, Benks and Arc Pulse. I much prefer the Benks or Pitaka from the added grip they give. With the Arc Pulse you’re just holding onto the iPhone which is slippery AF.

Do you think a dbrand skin will fit the back for a little scratch protection?

i too wanted to know this. i’ve had both, skins and the arc pulse. i never tried it but the skins are kinda thick and the AP is really tight fitting. per my research on reddit mainly it’s not a good fit.

Must say, that black titanium looks much better naked or with Arc Pulse than my Desert Titanium.
I want change, but I'm not sure, it was a great choice. Black looks just nice 👍

And in current weather I find out that Pitaka gives me better grip with gloves.

Also Arc Pulse is scratches magnet. With polished version you can see scratches after few days.
I'm afraid to wear my new Rose Bronze because doesn't have any scratches yet opposing Graphite version.

I agree with @darrinS, the fit is so tight it’s unlikely the AP would slide on over a skin. Most likely you would need to trim the skin to make room for the AP, which would be possible, but tricky.

Wonder if this useless button will make it's way onto the next iPhone 17 ?
Maybe Apple will realize their flub and scrap the damn thing.
It’s undoubtedly been a banner year for Apple-made cases. From Apple’s perspective, the button is probably perceived as a success for that reason alone. More importantly, it’s also a part of their Apple Intelligence strategy, so I can’t imagine it going away anytime soon.
