Anyone using the 3 x 1 belkin Qi2 charger? Does it leave a ring on the leather cases?
Guess black would be better with a black case as the holder is black?
They worth it in general?

TL;DR: Initially skeptical of the Süti Phoneback, I now see its value: it offers some limited protection, extra grip, and full Camera Control access, while mostly preserving the phone’s form factor and aesthetics. It needs to be lighter for what it is, though.

A year ago, I honestly questioned why the Süti Phoneback even existed. It seemed unnecessary when you could just use a slim case. But now that I’ve moved toward going caseless—mainly for the better Camera Control access and hand feel—it makes more sense. It provides protection from scratches when laying the phone down on its back, along with some extra grip, without covering up the sides of the phone and handicapping the CC. It’s nice being free from the CC button madness, while also future-proofing against the fact that we may have more capacitive buttons coming later this year (god forbid).

The super minimalist design mostly keeps the phone’s aesthetic and feel intact; it feels great in the hand and looks sharp on the black phone. The MagSafe connection is surprisingly strong, so it stays securely in place without shifting (it’s cool that it snaps into place using only the magnets). However, at 38 grams, it’s heavier than I expected for something this simple. I’m guessing this is due to being stiff enough to not require adhesive. The added weight is a bummer though; I’m imagining Pitaka or Benks making one of these from aramid fiber that weighs in the 10-15 gram range. Now that would be amazing. That said, the Süti fits my current preferences well enough that it’s made its way into my rotation with the Arc Pulse and Pitaka MagEZ.

Nice, how long did it take to receive after you placed the order? Did it ship from the US or China?
That orange one is on my radar ;)

They shipped right away but it got hung up in Louisville for almost a week due to the big snow storm they had there. If it wasn’t for the crazy weather I believe it would have been less than a week.

That orange one looks amazing, but it is silicone so I decided to go with the black ”pleather”. It actually feels very good and shows zero fingerprints.

Never noticed the weight until you mentioned it. I guess perhaps there are some limitations due to the MagSafe magnets needing to be strong enough to keep the case attached to the phone? It would be very interesting to get one of these in carbon though!

Yeah, I’m guessing it’s the very strong magnets along with being thick/stiff enough to not rattle at the corners. The fit really is surprisingly good for using just the magnets for adhesion.

The weight isn’t bad really, just unexpected. Oddly, to me at least, it almost disappears on the phone more than the Arc which weighs half as much. I believe this may be because most of the weight of the Arc is concentrated at the top of the phone.
