That upper lip on the top of the screen though... I'm imagining it being intruside to sliding down for control center or notifications? Maybe time for apple to add a "swipe down" from anywhere on the screen like android
Not at all. You get to swipe left and right being flush. Swiping down for control you just need to be Aron s the battery/wifi indicator area

i'm planning on getting a frameless case like the PR Flex or an Arc Pulse. I've been very happy using the Arc on my 15 PM. just might go with something less expensive like this:
Does the Arc Pulse on your !5PM show much signs the coating warring off? What colour did you get?

I find it funny how the Apple silicone case has taken a lot of criticism in past years but now that it’s one of the only cases with a camera control button, its suddenly a “pretty nice case”. 😄
Right I was defending this case so bad last year. The lint and feel literally feel the same to me. If anything it’s when the soft touch feel wears off that lint problem gets worse.

Spigen has a flash sale, 25% off until tomorrow.

Finally got my got to Slim Armor. Been getting that case for years. For some reason it isn’t on Amazon.

Swapped for the plum!

it was a long day though let me tell you. I had two screen protectors installed since Friday on the phone. Edges kept coming up so I was going to have it done again when I did the swap. Turned out my phone was the issue! So I ended up having to swap my phone too! 🤦🏼‍♀️ nothing like having to do a full restore again and log back into everything 😂 but it was kind of crazy because they tried seven more screen protectors… yes SEVEN…, and none of them would go on and so we ended up swapping the phone and the next one went on perfectly

Does the native union strap fit okay with the silicone Apple case? I bought a different brand (case-mate) and the little connecter part that goes through the charging port of the case will not work with the apple case so I had to send the strap back. Now I’m on the search for a brand that works with the silicone case without issue.
Yes, I'm using a silicone case and it easily fits and the apple USB C cable still fits with it in easily.

It's amazing to me that the nomad leather continues to have a fatter non symmetrical bottom lip lol ...honestly unacceptable for a brand that size
Yeah that’s unsightly. I think it’s because of the poly frame to support the double lanyard mounts along the bottom. Which begs the question, how many people use those mounts? I can’t imagine it’s more than a tiny minority…

You would think the sport case would have the lanyard mounts....you know, sport case n all lol

Just got the Torras 360 Spin case in grey and I’m undecided about it after really liking it in pictures. In reality I don’t think it’s as nice - and it’s VERY slippery as there doesn’t seem to be any texture at all on the sides, just smooth plastic. Not sure how it’s “military grade” tbh but it’s a lot of money for what it is in my opinion.

Has anyone received an Otterbox Lumen and have photos? What do you think of it and does it have any grip?

Thank you
I just got mine in today, clear. I was excited because it felt like it had more grip than the Apple Clear Case. But, same story after a few hours of use. VERY slippery and no texture to really hold onto. Curious if the Otterbox Lumen is the same story.

Very curious how you report back on this. Orange is one of my favorite colors. I have the Desert Ti, but this orange may make me not care to show it off all the time.
Yeah, I can't wait to hear reports about this one and the Caudabe Paragon that comes in orange. My favorite color but amazingly I've never had an orange case.

Spigen hybrid T series photos. Quite like the contrast with the white capture button. I do also have the official Apple silicon coming tomorrow, see how they compare.
How is the grip of the case? Slippery or does it have some grip to it?

That's really strange (unless the clear version has different sides...?). I assumed the 360 would have the same sides as the Torras Ostand (almost like they just made the same stand adjustable on the same case) which, as I reported yesterday, has excellent side grip.

Not a common color I see when I shop for cases. Maybe we will see some reports soon!

Any news on leather cases that have the camera button? The only reason I got the Apple silicone case is because of the button. But it’s experiencing the same issue as all the previous gen Apple silicone cases. The bottom right of my 16PM keeps popping out of the case. It’s annoying.

For my 15PM my favourite case was the Spigen Rugged Armor so thought I’d go for it again for the 16PM and I’m really not happy!
The camera control cut out isn’t the end of the world, what’s bothering me is how they’ve added a taper to the sides at the back which with the slightly wider phone is really uncomfortable to hold. I also think there’s a design issue with the magnet as using it on a MagSafe charger the phone gets really hot yet without the case it stays cool.
I was reluctant to go with the Apple silicone as ended up returning one for my old 14 Pro as within a day it was covered in lint, dust and fingerprints but it sounds like this is less of an issue this year..think I’ll return the Spigen and give it a try.
Hope this is useful feedback for anyone considering the Spigen Rugged Armor.

I’m happy with my Otterbox Lumen so far. After a full day with a Benks ArmorPro (hole for CC button), the covered button is way better. Benks had a narrow hole so it’s harder to press with the edge of my finger.

On to the Lumen though - way more grip than Apple Clear / Beats Cases which, for Apple Clear, I’ve tried each of the past few years they started coming out and they always seemed too slippery for me. Here it is on my NatTi - and a video of just the case.
