How do you guys feel about the ESR silicone case? Might be one of the best fits right now and went with the smaller footprint for the camera control cutout.

As I promised to @Zensō and anyone else who cares, here is my follow up after installing the Torras screen protector vs the ESR ones.

Installation for the Torras was just as easy as the ESR protector since they’re basically exactly the same.
My main issue with the ESR was if I viewed the phone from a certain angle, I would see a rainbow effect. Now, some may question if this is really a big deal, and for me it is. I don’t want to make this post too long, so to make a long story short; I’m very happy with the Torras protector, it is well worth the asking price, and the most important part, no matter what angle I view my screen from, I don’t get any rainbow effects that I got with the ESR.

Agreed. Lots of people are also reporting the cutouts to be difficult to use.
Fair enough. I guess as expected I don’t think the case makers knew what material would work on the phone itself. Plus they all rush to launch day one to get their market share

What is the best case in terms of offering solid protection and the case having good grip/nice feel in the hands for the 16 Pro? I am buying the Pro for my sis's birthday but cannot seem to find a good case at the moment...

Does anybody else’s button cutouts look very slightly misaligned on their silicone case? If I look in lighting at the bottom of the small dots that cover the speakers on my stealth gray 16 pro max silicone case, I can see the alignment is off just a bit.

This Marine Fabric Limitless is solid as well. Just that cutout has to be so huge. Sorry for all the pics, just going through case fitting session View attachment 2426520

So not only the cutout being huge, but the backside of the cutout isn’t opened at all. Not a good cutout at all. If you are holding the phone in your left hand and try to access the CC, it’s very difficult to use the button.

Apple Silicone this year is killing all the competition in my humble opinion.

Yes extreme protection aside otherwise it is inch perfect and fits like a glove.

Plus it’s less of a lint magnet this year and is very easy to clean.

One complaint is the sharpness of the usbc cutout. They could have smoothed that out some.

I got the Apple Silicone cases for my parents and decided to try the Torras Magnetic Case with Stand for our new iPhone 16 promax. I like the buttons on the Torras case, they're good, however, I don't really like the camera cut out. It makes the camera button sit lower, kinda hard to press. Are there any other cases that have the same camera button as Apple case?

Yes that was posted eairler. Some think the copper rods will scratch the camera button. Something to keep in mind
yeah, I bought one of these Supcase with the tiny rods and now that I have it in person, I think it may scratch the button down the line (though I like the flip stand a lot). So have switched to a Ringke Rugged for the time being.

The odd thing about this new "Rugged" case though is the screen lip is actually a hair shorter than their Fusion series. Have to ask them about that.

I don't know if you got the Clarity 3.0, but I was disappointed with it.

Scratches easily, the buttons are not clicky at all, and the cutout, well that is what it is. It was not for me.
The Clarity has been bad for a few years now and they just refuse to improve it in any way. Ok for sure going to say that in the video because it’s legit been the same for the past few iPhones.

Yeah and I got it because they talked about improving the thickness, grip, on and on. So I was like, "cool, they improved on all the callouts reviewers had." And then they did...this. I can't wait to get it off my phone.
