Speaking of silicone, Apple really should add metal buttons.

Not off to a great start with Amazon UK delivering the Spigen Nano Pop case in this state ...

However after speaking to their CS, they have refund me in full and was told to dispose of the case if I wanted.

I have put my phone into it and it has more of less straightened the bends of the case. Will rock on with it for now.

Got this today, i like it but the screen lip is well OTT, can feel it digging in my leg when in my pocket. Not sure on it because of that...shame.

Is Apple's silicone special or different this year or something?

I like the feel of silicone cases but without fail every silicone case (Apple or otherwise) I've bought over the years quickly picks up lint or sweat/oil, or both, and after a few weeks looks horrible. I don't mind the lint/fluff, it's just the greasy effect I don't like.

They still do show smudges and stuff but they easily wipe off so never been a big deal for me. My silicone cases look great even months to a year later.

Naw. It happens every year; they’re nice for the first few weeks then they start getting grimey over time. In recent years I’d buy a few and rotate them in and out to prolong the honeymoon period. Usually by mid-season they’d all be permanently relegated to the reject drawer. It won’t be different this year.

I was on my high horse early on saying the silicone felt much different this year in a good way. I still do think something has changed slightly, each one I have used (different colors) this year have super tight, snappy, clicky buttons, they fit like a dream and the material does feel slightly different to me comparing it to a brand new 16PM apple silicone that a few co workers purchased.

With that said just like @maxrest has said in my experience the AS looks just like day 1 after using it for months. I've never had a single one rip, tear, peel etc even after 8+ months of constant use. Understand that all depends on environment, how the phone is used (in and out of pockets etc.)

Lighter colors will not show all of the "smudges" etc as darker colors also. That's what is fun about cases its all user experience and subjective. Find something you love and that is the best case!

It’s too heavy.

Also, any case that’s going to be the Apple Silicone Killer has to be available on opening day, not 3 months later.
Heavy is an individual perception. Yes it’s heavier but noticeably thinner than the Apple Silicone.

Where it’s 2-3 months is irrelevant to my comment.

As of right now is the Paragon the Apple Silicone killer? Many positive feedback from those that are receiving theirs.

Paragon thinner than Apple Silicone. I disagree with that.

Let the specs speak for themselves.

Apple silicone
154.4 x 76.5 x 12.1
30g

Paragon
153.5 x 75.3 x 13.0(top/bottom lip) x 11.8(middle lip)
42g

Weight is an objective measurement. Can’t really dispute that… lol. I said nothing about form factor.

For Caudabe cases to ever again be classified as “minimalist”, they need to go on a serious diet.

How would the Paragon go on a serious diet when the specs vs the Apple Silicone are smaller and thinner? Get rid of the proprietary Shocklite polymer?

Paragon is definitely slimmer than Apple Silicone and TechWoven 😉

The Silicone and TechWoven make the phone feel wider and chubbier than the Paragon.
No way.

Silicone and Techwoven in my opinion feels much better than Paragon. You can actually feel the curves of the iPhone.

My Pro always feels happy in Apple cases.
