The Paragon is a joy to hold. The Sheath feels like a brick, literally (boxy and rough)!
The Sheath might feel rough to some I get that. But calling it boxy, it has same form factor as the king of form factor the Apple Silicone( same rounded edges). In fact the Sheath is a little thinner in depth than the Apple Silcone. Sheath 75.9mm vs Apple Silicone 76.5mm.

View attachment 2592901just got my paragon in, not sure if other people have this white mark (maybe glue residue) underneath the plateau but mine has it and also sharp seams on the edges

otherwise it looks pretty clean tbh but its definitely not better than the gen 7 grip wise, i knew it was smooth but not THIS slick lmao it has 0 texture imo

gonna rotate between sheath and gen 7 this year this is going back
Here no white marks on the Paragon and no sharp seams on the edges.

I don't find the Paragon slippery at all due to the sides. How do you hold your iPhone if not on the sides?

nah no way its boxy its literally a slim case dimensions wise, only thing bricky about it is the texture and maybe weight but aint even that bad

i often times hold it with my pinky on the bottom and most of the phone lies in my palm and i hold the sides. for the way i hold i need grip all round and Paragon just doesnt have that. i expected a slick back going in but not this slick, its even slicker than the synthesis frost

This how I hold my phone. This is why I need grip on the back.

Caudabe like to annoy customers don't they?

Still waiting for this open Sheath. Ordered few weeks back when it still showed "pre-order" for "early-January".

A week later it's been showing in stock and people have been ordering and having theirs delivered.

Do they have some weird system where older orders aren't prioritised?

Emailed support giving them one last chance to get this shipped by Monday otherwise I'm placing a new order and risking it and then cancelling the old one, which will inevitably ship out at the same time and they'll end up losing stock again with their weird returns policy.

Caudabe apparently remains very popular here (either that or their fans are the most outspoken), but I’m with you—I’ve had so many annoying customer service and quality control issues with them over the past few years that I’m very hesitant to do business with them anymore.

I waited 2 months for my Paragon. ☹️ For a short time I thought that it would not be delivered anymore, because I had not heard anything for weeks. But then it was suddenly here.

Few months in of daily use with Blue TechWoven - nothing but my biggest compliments to Apple - the biggest thing that stands out for me compared to Leather and FineWoven right before it is how this thing still looks pretty much exactly like new. Its resistance to stains and scratches is really commendable. They really took quality control very seriously after the FineWoven complaints and I think the new product (TechWoven) deserves all the compliments it’s getting. Hopefully it’s a success for Apple, is made a permanent product offering, and also hoping to see some nice new colours released for the 17 Pro cases in a couple of months when the Spring refresh is here 🤞

Yeah and those people that say we are being picky are just plain weird lol. "Minimalist perfection" does not have sharp seams all over, my Gen 7 is so goddamn well built and smooth on all seams and edges. If only its camera hump isnt that sharp it would be the GOAT for me
Gen 7 feels best in the hand out of all the cases I tried and right now I’m preferring it over my paragon. These two are neck and neck for 1st place for me.
