I had one of those Matter snap back cases back when they were going by the name Atom or whatever. I wasn't a fan, the Suti one I had for my 15 Pro at the time was a lot better.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the Thinborne Aramid Case for the iPhone Air
- 600D Aramid Fiber
- - 0.04 Thick

Not an inexpensive proposition, tons of discounts out there. Still, this is my go to case. I was waffling on keeping the Andar Aspen I bought but this seals the deal, don't get me wrong, the Andar Aspen, in blue is beautiful and well built, quality leather, but a little too thick so back it goes.
My previous favorite was my Totallee Scarf. Super thin (1/2 the thickness of the Thinborne) But no magsafe magnets, I thought I could live without, but I can't.. wouldn't always sit steady on my magsafe charger.

Picked up a tech woven and used it all day. It’s going back. The feel isn’t pleasing to the touch for me. I’ll exchange it for a silicon until I can find a better non Apple option.

Strikes me how much better these squarer devices look; apple’s continuing softening of corners on all devices (and in Mac OS where it looks awful), and turning everything into a squircle is annoying to me. Series 1-3 had the cleanest look. Also Apple’s watch straps were way better back then. Still have my saddle brown buckle and a bunch of the woven nylon bands.

Just got a response back from Andar that their revised Aspen case for the iPhone Air wont be ready until mid Decemeber ! I cant wait for that long so I got a Torro case incoming shortly.
They sent me two spares in the end so have three in total.
Will apply one at lunch today

Did they address the discoloration in detail?The case is Ok, the finish is dog water and they will exchange or refund my money
Tee mentioned the discoloration on his live stream last night. His is discolored as well. He was mostly likely referring to black and not frost. Note that the black Synthesis is “sold out” for both 17 pro and 17 pro max. I bet Caudabe pulled them due to “discoloration gate.” 🤣
I tried holding out on this upgrade but didnt last lol so I got the silver 17 pro max yesterday and I’m loving it! So far I have a midnight silicone case coming and I’m really intrigued by the blue techwoven but damn it’s sold out everywhere!
I’d personally recommend the ESR. I have both here and the fit of the Spigen was not good and the camera cover makes the button unusable (for me), so it’s going back. The ESR fits nicely and has a working CC button.
They did answer me saying the black was sold out and it will be a while before they have it in again. I believe they pulled it over the ugly finish problem.
She said they will send me a frost as a replacement right away.
