Pretty good. At first they wouldn’t stick that good to the Apple silicone. But seems like it takes a while for the stick to settle. Plugs go right in, then you “dig” the plug out. Somewhat inconspicuous. W

Will get a better test at work tomorrow.

You stuck to case and not phone itself, right?

I'll just chime in here and say the TW I have on my 17 Pro is tight and there's zero chance it would pop off in a face down drop. Maybe that's different for the Pro Max (not sure which phone you have), but when I had the 17PM, the TW I had for it was equally tight.

I'd see replies like this when I'd point out how terrible the Apple Leather cases were for drop protection, since those would pop off so easily as well.

I wonder how Apple manages to ship so many cases - going back to the leather ones - where some are so loose that they won't stay on the phone, while others apparently work just fine.

I've tested five different TechWoven cases from two different Apple Stores on my iPhone 17 Pro (I have not used the Pro Max). They were all the same. The fit was not tight on any of them. And it wasn't an issue of them being used, stretched or abused, because this is how they fit when taken direct from a sealed box.
With zero variance it seemed clear that was how Apple designed them (same story with all of their leather cases that I tried, years ago, starting with the iPhone 12).

With the TechWoven case on the iPhone, you can see the color of the phone around the front glass. This means that the TechWoven case does not even fully wrap around the edges of the iPhone. Like how the Apple Leather cases were, starting with the iPhone 12, the edges of the TechWoven case sit *next to* the edges of the iPhone (the case edge does not cover the edges of the iPhone).
How could the case possibly protect the front of the phone if it doesn't even cover the edges or corners?

The corners not being covered mean the phone will pop right out of the case if dropped on its front.

This review shows the issue quite clearly with the fit of the TechWoven case:

You're saying that you cannot push the corners of your iPhone out of the case like that?
Does your TechWoven case cover the corners/edges of your iPhone? If not, how could it prevent the corner from popping out when dropped?

This user already discovered that the TechWoven case will not protect the front of the phone:

just a reminder, if you have an air and the apple clear/shadow case and you want a sleeve or wallet, the combo fits perfectly in a sleeve or wallet made for a pro max. i’ve always been a fan of hardgraft and have several sleeves/wallets made for pro max phones. the fit is perfect.

Ah, that’s good to know. Thanks for the tip. 👍🏼

That's just ridiculous. How did they even manage to ship that out?

Mine is not that bad, but still much worse than the buttons on my 16 Pro sheath. I put tape under the buttons to stop the rattling. Now I’m just a tiny bit annoyed that the camera holes are misaligned on a “precise” case.

That's so weird, but I believe you.

I'm with you in that I prefer cases that don't show the frame of the phone around the screen. But the TW I have on my 17 Pro fits nice and tight and isn't easy to remove. In fact, I removed it to install the Phone Rebel Air yesterday and I had to remove it from the top by putting my fingers on the camera plateau to get leverage to pry the corners off. I usually remove cases by the bottom corners, but they're just too tight on the TW case to do it that way.

Someone earlier mentioned the PR Air case and how they returned it because the back was slippery like a bar of soap. I'm convinced they either got a different case or a weird one off, because the back of my Air has the perfect mix of grip without being hard to take out of your pocket.

I guess it just shows how people have different things they like about cases.

I didn’t notice the misalignment until I had make the pic bigger and look really hard.

<Hey, car dealership, my brand new Ford Mustang I just bought has windows that don't fully close. Dealership: Oh, that is normal on all cars, just use some duct tape to cover it and you won't even notice.>
Honestly, I wasn't mad that there was a delay, I wasn't mad (just sad and disappointed after the long wait) both Paragon and Sheath cases I received were faulty. But telling me as someone who had Mous, UAG, Spigen, Otterbox, Apple, DBrand, Speck, Nomad, Ringke, Tech21, Rhinoshield and many other brands that having a pointy seam that cuts trough my hand is normal, that it is normal having it just on one side (on volume button side that seam is visible but I can't feel it under my hand as it should be all over), that button rattle is normal and even Apple cases have it (btw my buttons don't rattle so I guess it is not normal) instead of admitting it is a faulty unit and then even telling me to use nail file to fix it. Wow. It's really becoming hard to have understanding for their excuses and to keep supporting the company.

That’s wild. I guess they should start shipping each case with a nail file and a roll of painter’s tape. And while they’re at it, perhaps throw in an Xacto knife for cutting out the reversed magnets.

I bet you didn’t know you were buying a crafting kit when you ordered your cases… lol.

They don’t QC and make the seam smooth BEFORE they ship it out.
