Yes I agree on it feeling like silicone. Usually the full coverage TPU aramid fiber cases feel that way to me. I always prefer the way Ultra Slim aramid fiber feels.

Oh yea! The Sunset thinny thin would be way less fingerprint city. The full coverage TPU based aramid fiber cases are definitely worse when it comes to that. Also not a fan of the tan front screen border on the Sunset nor the baby blue front screen cover on the Moonrise.
Again not to rain on its parade but I don’t get the $85 price tag, not worth it imo.

So I took one final run at a sheath, this time for the 17. Mediocrity at its finest. The tpu at the buttons & bottom is not firm, pulls away relatively easy. Add in the MagSafe is weaker than my Mous case. I swear I am done with Caudabe.

I’ve had good copies, and plenty of sub par copies—it’s the inconsistency that eventually turned me off of them. If they were sold through Amazon I’d consider playing the case lottery to get a good one, but with their consistently inconsistent shipping and customer support, buying direct is a non-starter for me.
I get that Aaron likes them, but they have been a disappointment on a lot of levels. Many far better & less expensive cases imo.
