Will the FLOLAB NanoArmour ONETIME PRO for iPhone 16 Pro Max fit the 17 Pro Max?
Has anyone tried using the FLOLAB screen protector made for the 16 Pro Max on the 17 Pro Max?
Does the bezel align properly, and is the fit close enough without covering the display or leaving gaps?

I had minor bubbles that took a few seconds to get rid of, alignment and fitment were fine.
I installed my 3d version today for the pro Max. Had some bubbles but they came out after a while of pushing them out.

I just installed a FloLab on my iPhone 17 Pro that is supposed to be anti-reflective and anti-rainbow. It massively creates the rainbow effect with my polarized sunglasses. Really frustrating. Their QC is just so bad. It’s great if you actually get a good one. I’ve never in my life dealt with any other company that makes the customer pay for shipping to replace defective products.

As much as I like it when I have a good one, I’m just really starting to wonder if it’s worth the hassle for it. Customer service is so slow, and the $10 shipping fee for any replacement (even for defective items) is a bit much.

Is this the 3D one? What is the difference between the two?
It's not the 3D one. The difference is the 3D version might not be case friendly. That is because it gradually tapers down and covers more of the screen edges, which leaves less room for a case.

Here is a link for the 3D version showing the difference:

I have the 3d version and it works with tech woven case.

As a person who swaps to multiple cases just about daily for the channel, I’ve been running the Flolab 3D for weeks and not one case has peeled any corners up and I’m talking about tight cases.

3D version is not compatible with my Dbrand Tank case. It lifts the protector from top. Alignment of the protector is near perfect. Works fine with Techwoven and Andar Aspen

Word because I have the Tank and have zero issues.
IMG_0031.jpg

That doesn't mean the issue doesn't exist.

Didn’t say it doesn’t, just reporting on what I’ve experienced and gives people the thought process that this isn’t a major issue.
Man, I didn't want to be that guy but I have to be that guy. You never once mentioned in your dbrand tank video about the misalignment of the camera cutouts. Afaik you switched from flolab to some other protector a few posts ago. I am just telling people that the problem exists in case someone buys both of them together. And I also have privacy version of the flolab protector which I don't think you tested. Anyways, I don't wanna get into arguments. I just wanted to add a data point so that anyone buying same stuff would be aware. ✌🏻

I don’t mention it because you have to be staring at it to really tell. I did miss it in my initial video because I dont try to find every glaring issue that I feel some people do. Now any future video I will tend to mention it as the majority of people who are getting the Tank also aren’t bothered by it. MacRumors nitpicking it overblown where the average person could care less about the a tiny misalignment. Sure it should be cleaned up but that doesn’t make or break the case.

I have all the Flolab protectors and I haven’t ran into any case compatibility issues. The only one that I’ve experienced that is Torras because it comes closer to the edge. Flolab actually left a little off for cases.

I have the not-3d version and made a comment about it in this thread. It has a black border, the top edge sticks out past the sides of the screen protector, and using the included frame, it seemed to be ever so slightly off to the right by a line of pixels or two.

I'd highly recommend buying the 3D one instead. Not that I've ever used the 3D one myself lol. It's only been a week and a half, but I am really liking it. The texture is great, the antiglare is great. Despite the goofy edges, I can't even notice it when I have my phone in the case. Even outside of the case it's barely noticeable... though I'd definitely prefer the 3D version!

I just wish they didn't cost so much!

Be specific, this isn't YouTube where any general jargon would get you clicks. Which flolab protector did you have/had or still currently rocking that you tested with Tank case? Have you ran any test to see if the protector lifts up on your flolab? I am sharing my personal experience because it's happening to me and not making up **** out of my bum.

About the tank case. Firstly, I love this case and I love dbrand but you have to call out issues even if it's dbrand or apple. You don't have to be staring at it to know the issue. Majority of people getting tank are unbothered by it? says who? macrumors isn't "nitpicking" on anything relating to the Tank case, it's people on reddit who picked it up. I don't know which average person you're talking about but I am one of the average consumer who notices things because I bought it with my own money. I haven't been affiliated/partnered with any of these brands but you do. Now, I don't care what you do in your time or on YouTube. I want precise and honest feedback which considering Dbrand using your video basically as a commercial says a lot. Will provide ss below in case you forgot.

Here we go again, first of all, I had no idea that DBrand was even going to put that video on the email/website when they did, it was a surprise for me and no money was exchanged hands.

Second, I went and purchased my own Tank after I received the one they gave me. I tend to do that for all the cases when I like them after they sent them to me to still support the company.

I have tried tons of screen protector with the Tank, the 3D which I’ve no issues with and it currently on my phone as we speak. I’ve tasted this with Torras and the Caudabe screen protector so I’m not just talking and during my tank video I’m quite sure I has the Flolab on.

You took this as an attach and I was simply stating that I don’t have those issues, sharing my experiences about the situation, since when did that turn into a you can’t be trusted because DBrand put your video on their website?

I seriously never attacked you or said your claim was true, I was simply stating that I don’t have that issue, nothing more nothing less.

Any suggestions on non-glass, film screen protectors for 17PM? Something that’s case friendly. Thanks

And also I can only report what I see and have on my case and I don’t have any alignment issues and before you say it is, these issues can be deceiving when taking pictures because if it’s not dead on even and straight, it will appear that they are off.

Since you review cases and screen protectors, what screen protector would you say is currently the best?

It’s hard and it’s really between the Torras OrigArmor and Flolab 3D and I’m leaning Flolab. I will say Torras fit is a little better and feels better on the edges if you aren’t using a case, but the durability outlasts Flolab imo and I like they have the lifetime warranty also. So for me I’m leaning Flolab.
