This is exactly why when my wife asked if she should upgrade from her 15 Pro to the 17 Pro, I told her no. I'm not kidding when I say she should be a case tester, because she fumbles and drops her phone at least twice a day. On tile, on hardwood floors, and on concrete. Her 15 Pro still looks like day one with no scratches or blemishes anywhere. If she did the same with the 17 Pro, I can't imagine what it would look like.

She also always uses a case and glass screen protector, but she only uses cases that are biodegradable. So it's not like she's using an Otterbox or other tank-like case. But that titanium stands up to abuse so well.

Not sure what she's going to do if they never bring back titanium.
Did we marry the same woman? 😂

Ha! My wife is the same. We have hardwood floors, and I hear a loud “THUNK!” at least once or twice a day. At this point I don’t even look…lol. She’s been using the same type of silver sparkle CaseMate case through multiple phones (the silver sparkle is the important detail) and has never damaged a phone. And I’m over here carrying around an Air in a Pitaka Edge like it’s a piece of Waterford crystal or something. Pretty silly… lol.

Haha, it really is impressive! I don't think I've dropped my phone more than a handful of times since my first 3GS, and she's over here dropping hers every day, usually multiple times a day. I'm honestly surprised she's never dropped it on her foot and injured herself!

Is it comfortable to hold? I hope it's not too abrasive like the Spigen Rugged Armor
I’ll take pictures in a bit, but yes it is. It’s not rough and the case doesn’t feel thick at all. There’s no camera control button and there’s floating buttons. I’ll upload pics after I eat dinner.

For those who have the Blue iPhone 17 Pro Max, what colour buttons do you think would go with Caudabe Frosted Synthesis case?

I have the blue 17PM and change between my Synthesis and Sheath around. I am using the Celestial Blue Buttons for both. I think it matches really well with the blue of the iPhone. I also have some cobalt laying around but the match isn`t that great.

That's good that it's not rough as that was my main concern. I know you can get the case with the camera control button but it costs a bit more.

Sheath vs Tinee2 - Tinee2 feels so much better in the hand, the grip is much more slippery than the Sheath with a way less aggressive texture. Button's and everything else work good, top is a little floppier than I like ☹️
CC button is a little hard to get to but works just fine.
Here are a couple side by side pics:

Dropped the Air+Pitaka Edge two feet onto a hardwood floor today (slipped off an ottoman). Broke the UltraGlass 9H screen protector. The phone is fine. It was a good reminder that the Pitaka provides virtually zero drop protection and is functionally not much more than a skin.

Close to pulling trigger on the Aulumu for my Air. Any regrets for those that got it? If you returned it and got something else what’d you get?

IMO, the TO looks much cleaner and more refined. My Sheath is arriving this afternoon—hoping it looks better in person than it does in your photos, and that I like it enough that it doesn’t just collect dust for the next year… 😅

Definitely, no sharp seams like the Sheath and it feels so much nicer in the hand. I'm going to use it for a day or two and maybe even order the black if everything works out. Please post some pics of your Sheath once it arrives.
