Ok.. was at the mall, and (un)fortunately they just got in 17PM's 512GB in Silver.. so I just grabbed one. I intend on going with TWO cases.. yes.. thats right, TWO cases. Ordered the Pitaka Ultra Slim "Glints of Gold" and the new Caudabe Canyon w/silver buttons.

Thats it.. If you see be back here posting a "new" case other than those, feel free to mock me relentlessly.

Off to eBay with my 17P. 512GB in Cosmic. I'll probably make it simple and bundle ALL the cases with the sale. I'll take a beating, but it will be one less thing to think about. MR's marketplace is a bit of a ghost town. Someone will get a great deal... multiple Pitakas, a couple TW's, two sheaths, thinborne, Apl Silicone and Andar. I clearly got caught up in the case cycle this time (though not as bad as others here!)

My everyday will be the Pitaka, with a change on occasion to the Caudabe, and always the Sheath when outdoors and active. I'm trying to simplify and eliminate the "Analysis paralysis" or "choice overload".
Good luck to you!

I have also thought about just bundeling a bunch of the cases I don’t really use and selling them on eBay, because over here (Germany) people just don’t care about phone cases at all 😅 Maybe leading in with one of the Apple cases would convince people to buy them.

What case do you think is better in terms of comfort and feel in the hands?
Caudabe Paragon or Mous Limitless (Marine)
I do not have the Paragon, only the Mous. The Mous is grippy, feels really good to hold with the exception of the edges who could be smoother and rounder. The Paragon is rounder overall, but people describe it as slippery sometimes because it only has grip on the sides. I guess it depends what you prefer, grip wise.

PS: No matter how many times I rotate around my case collection, I always return to the Mous after a while. It’s just so good. Feels like home. Put in on again today after a few days in the amazing Catalyst Influence.

It’s tough in the US as well. I’ve never been able to sell a bundle of cases at anything other than giveaway prices. I mean, what normal person needs more than one case? And with the packaging/shipping hassle and cost, it’s almost not worth selling individual cases at a deep discount. Then this year, factoring in the Air, with its low adoption and high percentage of users going caseless, it’s a lost cause. Most likely I’ll give away the collection when the time comes.

What is going on with Apple’s quality lately?? After the first vanilla silicone case was warped, the second one at least fits properly—but now it has a big bulge (see photo). I’m really frustrated because I actually want to like it. ☹️

@JBlass421 I’m giving the Moft another go (after last year). That navy blue movas case looks so so good. I just got my Moft wallet in navy blue and it looks incredible and so now I want the matching phone case
Nice, yea the Navy Moft does look great! Someone here posted it a couple times with their Silver phone and it looks really good!

Ironically I’m not using it anymore the little part right above the charging port broke and created a little bump that I just can’t unsee. I believe it was from taking it off and on multiple times with its super tight fit made that piece vulnerable.

So that part in those cases is a weak point for sure, just keep that in mind. Buttons do protrude out a little bit also but I got used to it.

Otherwise it’s a great case, premium feeling, premium looking and great fit! Also I used it for about 2 months and even cleaned it with a moist rag and dish washing soap multiple times (I’m mindful about having a dirty case with germs, whatever case I use I clean it regularly to disinfect it. Phone cases get handled so much after a while they become germ beds) and it remained perfect with no signs of it looking like it was on its way to degrading.

I do miss it but don’t want to buy it again, I got it for the $5 special at Verizon lol.

Looking forward to hearing your input on it when you get it.

Ignore the quality of the photo (I took it with my iPad) but I finally found my perfect case. Navy blue is my favorite color and so this case color is perfect. Love the fit and feel of it as well. We’ll see how it fares down the road based on my previous experience but, for now, I am so happy with this case and it’s my new number 1.

Which Moft case is that?

Do it! I know you’re a fellow navy blue lover as well so you’re going to absolutely love the case. Aside from the color, the case is perfect as well in terms of look, fit, and feel.
I briefly tried the lighter blue they do a while back. Never tried Navy as always thought it looked too dark.

Can’t remember if it’s slimmer than the TW

Caudabe Paragon or Mous Limitless (Marine)
The sides are similar, as well as the tapered shape (top to bottom) but the back is completely different. Paragon is a smooth plastic/polycarbonate and the mous is either a smooth fabric (marine), rubber like (speckled) or one of the other backplates.

I thought the fit on the paragon was a little better, buttons were comparable albeit metal on the caudate and plastic on the mous.

I wouldn’t say it’s super dark but definitely not light either. Perfect navy shade, imo.

Honestly I don’t really notice much of a difference coming from the TW in terms of thickness and weight.

The Paragon seems to lack grip though and looks slippery
The Mous, I have heard about warping issues done the line which is unacceptable for such an expensive case.

Just a question… The Paragon is not as slippery as the Moft?!
I’ve used both cases for a little while, two of the tightest fitting cases which is a plus imo.

I personally don’t find the Moft slippery, the Paragon has pretty good grip on the sides but a slippery back, I got used to it and it didn’t bother me.

I think the Moft overall grips better in hand but that answer can vary from person to person.
