Finally got round to trying the Vanilla silicone case on the Deep Blue 17 Pro at the store. I think at this time it’ll be a pass for me but good to have finally seen it in person.

How is the grip?

Grip is good. Personally I think the Tineeowl hits the sweet spot of grippy texture without pulling out your pockets. Way less aggressive than the sheath or Dbrand grip.

The Blue TechWoven case. I rotate between that, the Midnight Blue silicone case and the Purple Fog Silicone case. Midnight Blue silicone (pictured below) remains by far the best match of them all in my view. This is the first time I’ve actually passed on buying any of the Spring release cases from Apple, because they didn’t release anything that decently matches the phone colour I have. Ahh well I guess think of the money saved

Very nice but it looks thick (thicker than the orange silicone one). How is the form factor? Scratch magnet? I have the orange silicone one for my 17 Pro. It is not bad but it adds quite a bit of weight.
