iPhone 17/e/Air/Pro/Pro Max Cases

Odd you ask that - when I dug mine out for pics earlier today I noticed same. Damp cloth but… wonder what why that it does that. What ARE these things made of lol

The funny thing for me is that I only get that haze when 1) it's darker color like black or dark blue and 2) when the case has been sitting in a drawer for a while. If I'm using the case regularly, the haze never appears for me. Not sure why that is.

Never experienced that and I have working man hands.

No haze on my Sheath here either.


It's been that time period recently where the case game goes a bit stagnant. I still visit here to see what you guys are using and on occasion it'll influence a case rotation if I have it. Today I'm in the blackPrecise Sheath with Ember buttons and CC button.
I tend to change every few days, sometimes more with my mostly used being an aramid Supcase UB Grip. Just love the look, protection and feel of it.

Others that get a look in are Spigen Enzo which looks great with black plateau skin. Tank, but even with v2 buttons I still find the power button too sensitive which'll lead me to swap out after a while.
Sheath feels like my fave slippers when using for some reason, perhaps as I've had a few over the years.

Don't really use the Paragon Precise in orange, OCD on a scratch I turned into a smudge when trying to polish out puts me off. I would like to try one in Midnight but not at full price.

And I have a Benks ArmorPro that would be great if the top wasn't loose so stays in the cupboard and another Supcase UB Grip in Coral/Frosted, which I like but the aramid is preferred over that so doesn't get an outing.


I still crave something new and regularly browse for one but I think my current collection will do this gen.

I'm not one of you hardcore guys who buys cases that you probably know you won't like and return but need the dopamine hit of a new case. 🤪 But I totally understand it, lol.

I don't plan to. The Air was on the Upgrade Program, which I paid off before handing off to my wife, and I bought the Pro Max outright, so the incentive to upgrade is gone. Also, from what I've seen, the changes are going to be minimal. The only thing I can think of that would get me to upgrade early is a titanium uni-body, which is never going to happen.

How about you?

I'm not upgrading either, I got 2TB of orange goodness that I have to live with 🤪
Looks like there may be a black version this year, I must hold out 🤔

Purchased the phone rebel gen 7 frosted. Got it because of the ring stand. It’s something I’d use and have used it everyday and the magnet is strong and it’s surprising thin. Overall, best phone rebel generation they’ve come out with…in my opinion.

Saw a iPhone Air andar case on eBay for like $20 so I bought it. And just bought an air from a member on here because I like how the case felt in the hand 😂 let’s see how long it lasts. Soooo thin
