My guess it’s something different 🤣

The problem is that it provides no support for that area in a drop. They should have extended the PC frame up and over the plateau similar to what Mous did.
Plus, it accumulates so much debris under this area, no other case even comes close.

ETA: okay maybe the Rhinoshields top that. I forgot about the time I found a little puddle in my AirX. 😂

What would you recommend then? I’m using a synthesis right now and it’s ok
You have 585 pages of recommendations in this thread. 😉

It’s really not as simple as recommending one particular case—we all have different tastes and priorities and one person’s favorite is another person’s meh. That, and no case is perfect. I’d suggest listing out your priorities and running some searches on the thread with those keywords.

The screenshot is from this video (from min 2:40 on):

After being reminded how well the Spigen Tough Armor performed during drop tests I decided to give it another chance and I have to say: what a solid little case for the money! (29,74€ on Amazon Germany right now)

(Four-Eyed Tech Guy also reviewed it a while ago.)

Fits really well, buttons are clicky, CC button works as intended. The inside is smooth with no sharp pieces, the outside is TPU with a PC layer on top.
I just have to adjust my pinky position, because the charging port cutout is not very comfortable.

I’ve enjoyed this case in years past. I may have to give it a try.

Why that brand vs others?
Guy who runs the company is really nice. Had a chat with him via iMessage. He explained to me what type of leather is being used in details and other things about the case. Then he even hand-picked this one for me because I prefer smoother leather with more prominent creases and upgraded shipping to the expedited one for free. Now that’s a real VIP customer service. 😉🙂
