I love my Pitaka Ultra Slim and that’s a risky case to people who are used to more protection but phonebacks are just a no go for me.
After trying one for the first time late last year, it makes the phone feel awkwardly back heavy due to the weight distribution being all in the back with virtually no protection at all. At that point might as well go naked which has better ergonomics imo.

My hands are so used to the Sheath any case I try doesn’t feel good. I know others say the Sheath feels like sandpaper etc but it feels like butter in my hands. I think that’s why I don’t even like the Paragon. The P doesn’t have same ALL around feel and why I like the Apple Silicone feel(but not the fingerprints and protection) and almost the TW feel.
The Sheath I believe is one the closest case in measurement to the AS on the market that offers a lot more protection. However despite its slimness the material is very dense and heavy.
A caveat with the Sheath is depending on the surface, if you drop your phone it’s going to damage the case. AS will do the same and TW would too but without the same drop protection as the Sheath.
I wish the Sheath wasn’t dense and heavier but if it wasn’t it wouldn’t provide the drop protection. If I wasn’t concerned about drop protection I would be running the TW because I hate fingerprints.

Pitaka does seem to be releasing new cases every other week. This time it’s the Sakura series. Loving the purple. But do I really need another case 3 months before the 18?
Does Pitaka cases have a tight fit?

Surprisingly I’ve ended up in the TechWoven after using the Decoded case for a long time. Something about an X.0 update demands a case refresh.
I tried the Bullstrap for a day, which is still a sticky tacky mess and ended up taking an alcohol hand wipe to it just in case it could possibly improve it somehow. It just stripped off a bunch of black coloring with no change in feel at all.
My other option was the Onyx and that’s basically the TechWoven without a CC button so here we are.
If I do decide to upgrade so I can go back to a PM I’ll 100% be buying and sticking with an Apple case.

Their thin cases are inconsistent. Because the aramid has very little flex, the tolerances are very small, so any imperfection makes the case either tight or loose. I typically have to go through a couple to get a perfect fit.

It is my favorite full case. My favorite “case” right now is the Nudient Slice Case. It is a phone back.

Really? I feel like the Apple cases always end up being popular whether that’s the silicone or TW (not counting FineWoven in here)
It doesn't offer much protection and my friend returned the case because the phone kept popping out in the corners.
I think most of us who daily them are fine with basic protection. To your other point, I’ve never had that issue with my silicone or TW

My TW is loose on the upper corners, more so on one side.
