The fit is typical Spigen; reasonably tight, tighter than Apple cases, but not as tight as Phone Rebel and Caudabe.
The back plate is matte PC, so the usual medium amount of fingerprints. Not as bad as aramid, and they wipe off relatively easily.
I will say this SUTI nanoleather version feels pretty good. I got the clear version when the 17 pro max first came out; mine was scuffed out the box so it was instant refund... but it was thick.. heavy...
I'm glad Suti is on amazon now so its easy returns if theres an issue

Interesting bit of info in this video here: apparently the dimensions of the 18 Pros (mockups for case makers) are close enough to the 17 series to enable reusing cases from the current lineup. Also: iPhone Ultra without Face ID but Touch ID instead. Yay for holes instead of covered buttons. It gets less and less attractive with every bit of info leaked out there lol.

Pitaka Edge California Dream 01 case in today. The fit, feel and finish on this one is top notch, maybe I got lucky here.
Been a while since I've fondled a thinny thin and man does it feel nice. This case is much darker/muted in person than the online images from the Pitaka site depict. Last case of the year for me. Here are a couple quick pics:

Hopefully he’s right, but I’m doubtful. Even in the video it was shown that the plateau is thicker.

For now. There’s cases out there with a membrane over Touch ID for the old phones. Also protective covers for them too. Good times

I am really enjoying mine. They are definitely refined the fit and finish on their cases from the original ones at the launch of the Iphone 17. I already dropped it onto concrete from about waist height and it held up. My only annoyance is the clear plastic ring around the camera instead of metal.

Yeah, the 18 camera plateau is way thicker than the 17, so even if cases fit, the 18 cameras will be sticking up with no protection at all.

By the gods… 😧 the camera plateau protection rims will look ridiculous on the new cases. I already find them barely tolerable on some cases. Mous for example is going to have to overthink their design.

What’s the trick to removing this thinny thin Pitaka? This thing has become one with the phone and won’t budge 😕 I don’t recall past thinny thins being this tight.

Push the corner at the camera plateau first, then bottom corner on the same side.

The Popsocket Low Pro is the real deal!
Usually only use my MagSafe Popsocket when browsing/playing Solitaire in bed. I find it too thick to keep on all day, plus I have to take it off to charge on my bedside stand.
The Low Pro fixes both those issues AND is more comfortable for my man size fingers. Another plus is it hides the mark on the back of my Paragon that stopped me from using it. 👍🏻
Very happy with it.
Went with the black, would look better if the metal stand part was offered in orange or blue to match the Pros better but they may well offer that colour choice when Apple's exclusivity ends. Saying that, I'll be upgrading in a few months so can see what colours are available around then.
