I’m still rocking the SAME one of these from January.

Very nice install with the Benks.

No screen cut in from black borders. Held phone in the sun and AR seems good (as if working though the protector as this protector doesn’t have it. Definitely no obvious reduction compared to Origarmour. See how it holds up
Now other a month in and not a single scratch on this.

Durability is top notch

Benks is in. AR is really good on the 3d version. Only problem is my phonerebel lifts the screen protector up :/ this isn’t a problem on the flolab 3d. Gonna have to go back to flolab

I ended up trying the Benks one, and so far it’s the best out of all the ones I’ve tested. I was using the Torras before, but the Benks has better anti-reflective coating and fits perfectly without covering any part of the screen. I also tried Flolab, but for me it did cover a bit of the display. I’d definitely recommend the Benks 3D AR version.

The Nimaso on my 17PM seems to wearing nicely. On since January one small micro scratch or two and only now a little area of the oleophobic coating is starting to wear off.

Installed Matt Benks today. Pretty happy.

My Torras has 4 cm long scratch running from top to bottom. All by putting device in and out of my jeans front pocket.

I got this one to try it and it's great. Highly recommend. The edges aren't "sharp," it covers the whole screen, no rainbow effect.

the flolab light bleed on edges started bothering me. So I ordered another tortas and knock on wood, this one doesn’t have micro scratches after a week 👀

Some of you might know I wrote a few reviews regarding some of the screen protectors I had tried over time:
  1. GoblinBox
  2. Flolab 3D NanoArmour ONETIME PRO
  3. Blueo Sapphire (expensive)
I was recently in Hong Kong on vacation and decided to snap up the imos Sapphire Glass 2.5D Screen Protector to try, which is only sold in certain Asian countries. It's definitely not cheap and sits around ~$68 USD, similar in pricing to the Blueo Sapphire that I previously had.

Here are my initial impressions:

PROS
  • Case-friendly, fits my Caudabe Sheath fine, just make sure to pull the opposite edge of the case outward when inserting to prevent it from pushing against the edge of the protector
  • Very scratch-resistant due to the synthetic sapphire material, no scratches or even micro-scratches so far, and its been in my pocket with keys and other items
  • Oleophobic coating is great, very resistant to fingerprints
CONS
  • Not so great edge-to-edge protection, due to its 2.5 screen coverage, worst than the Blueo Sapphire
  • Reflective, and difficult to see in sunlight
  • No install alignment tray, making it very difficult to align perfectly by hand, and more susceptible to dust attraction
  • 360-degree pixel blockage, the top and bottom pixels are block just a bit, but the left and right pixels are more blocked (see last photo)
  • Really bad side light bleed, due to less edge-to-edge screen protection
  • Really expensive, with only one screen protector provided
  • imos branding on the top right corner, not noticeable during screen usage, but can still see it with the screen off, although not obvious
CONCLUSION
  • Pass on this unless you don't care about pricing, anti-reflectiveness, and highly scratch-resistant
  • The Torras OrigArmor, Flolab 3D NanoArmour, or even less-known brands like the GoblinBox offer better value for the price

Thankyou for your sacrifice. Ive yet to find a screen protector that has as good oleophobic coating as imos. Theirs is TOP NOTCH. I wish they would remove the branding or use invisible ink like Shellrus tho

have you tried the benks? its the best one i've used (oleophobic coating wise). it will eventually wear out i'm sure, but so far so good few months in.

I’ve yet to find a screen protector that actually offers true edge to edge coverage to prevent dust etc from accumulating around it & is anti reflective on my Air. Also the touch response always seems to be affected with screen protectors.

When you add a screen protector & take it off you release just how good the anti reflective screen is one the latest iPhones.

Currently no screen protector on.

Man it seems like the options for the iPhone Air are just a wasteland this year. Shellrus is out of stock, same with Benks. Anybody got one they like? The ESR has been just awful on scratches for my wife.
