I think Apple did good with this phone. Bumping up the storage, chip and give it Ceramic Shield 2 and most importantly MagSafe. Yeah, the price is still the same but DRAM prices are insane now anyways. Most importantly the 512GB got $100 cheaper and you can pickup one at $799. That's a solid phone for the price. Looks great, feels good in the hand (not as great as my Mini but oh well), a new color and it lays flat on a table.

Well done.
The arguement from Apple now comes from justifying the extra $200 for what amounts to a 0.5x camera. Useful, but worth the cost?

Apple's not going to give 256GB base on the 17e, at least I seriously doubt it. They gotta eat.

You were saying😁😁

But yeah the 17e is a great phone indeed, like the 16e it’s better than the 14 Pro/15 but worse than the 15 Pro/16 and above

The fact that it has the same battery capacity as the 16e (4005 Mah) gives it better battery life than the Air itself

It's a wonderful phone indeed. Here's the way I have mine dressed up-- black and (soft)pink together are a great and nostalgic color combo. Punk! 😛 Dbrand skin and then a JETech transparent case. Love the peek of the side rails. Truly hard to tell it's pink in most lighting!

It's a great phone value for the money (as best you can do from Apple these days). I didn't want to invest heavily in an iPhone, so it was a toss up between the 17e or a refurbished 16. Either good in their own way.
