Right, now you do, but I thought that in-app purchasing would be something perfect for the Amazon or Stanza reader software, and would eliminate the need to be sent to an external web page. But requiring the app itself to be paid for is kind of wonky for that sort of model.

What Amazon (or any other reader) could do, is have the App being 99c (or anything) and then offer a 99c credit for your first book purchase (essentially make the app "free" but still allowing them make use of the in-app purchasing.
