I stand by my earlier post in this conversation this is the best place I found to deal with iPhone 3g problems .

They have a few good solutions for iPhone 3g bluetooth problems, just have a look around.

You're right the fixya site fixed the problem, it now works fine (so far). It used to need re-pairing every time you killed the ignition.

Resolved

Looks like 2.2 fixed the BT issues with my Mercedes C300!
