Apple will ensure that you get a Replacement; that could be a new or refurbished iPhone. Sorry to see that ugly crack, but you'll be happy with the replacement for $229 (Canadian).....

iPhone 3GS screen just cracked!

So I walked in, payed $229 and walked out with practically a new phone. Only problem is, I don't have a data plan so I called Fido to put a block on. It seems getting a new phone deactivated the block, and now it hangs at the site i try to go to, and wasted 1KB of data. How can i fix this? I called them, but the guy was very unhelpful and said its "Not guaranteed to always work".
